A guy 6'2" 214 who runs a 4.35 in the 40?? And he can be had for a late round pick?? Go get him!!!

He's a legitimate #2. It would basically spell the end for Brian Hartline. Certainly wouldn't be opposed to it. Doubt it will happen, but it would be great.

You guys remember when CJ, Sims Walker, and Marshall were on webcam together, and Marshall went to go take a dump and didn't lock the door, and Sims-Walker took the computer and opened the door. LOL I couldn't stop laughing, Marshalll was like WTH.

Id love to get Sims-Walker. Very talented, maybe itd open up the playbook a bit. Hartline could be traded for some a draft pick or possibly be kept and developed. I wouldn't give up more than a 3rd round pick though.

Do it. I would love to see him here. He would give us a solid number two receiver.

do it! HENNE+MARSHALL+SIMSWALKER+BESS=PROBOWL HENNE

i bet the patriots get him. Trifecta sucks when it comes to things like this. Everyone said that getting B. Marshall was so out of the ordinary for them...

Your right. and it'll be worse when he kills us with the pats. Would love for them to be aggressive and go get him. They could really help Henne out that way. Hartline is having one hell of a sophomore slump.

I'm usually not for trading guys but his guy is a legit #2 and if he can be had for cheap I'm all for it

not really, the thing is he is just a 3rd + 4th wide receiver on any team but this one.

considering he's been quite productive for Jax,i say go for it...he might be in a slump right now,but i bet reuniting him with Marshall would get him outta his slump...c'mon Ireland, pull the trigger on this and send Jax a late round pick for him...

With all the problems that Jags passing game is having it's strange that they want to scapegoat MSW. He must be hinting at pretty unreasonable contract demands. We should absolutely go after this. For a late round pick? Uh, hell yes.

timwendt58

Isn't this guy too inconsistent or is that because he plays for the Jags.

Didn't we trade our 7th for McQuistan (foolishly).

FlaFinest954

I would love him here but let's face it, until the day we get rid of Dan Henning we won't bring out the full potential of our weapons. That's just the bottom line.

But heck getting him is a start

This team won't do it. If he was a lineman maybe, but a playmaker? No they won't get him.

I'd love this, but they won't do it. They'll probably trade the same pick for Oline depth they end up cutting a month or two later.

I would do it in a heartbeat.. but so would many other teams in the league. What do we have to offer that other teams don't?

That's not the problem. The problem is the trifecta will not consider it. Now is if was another scrub Dallas OL, it would be a done deal!

Travis34

I would absolutely love him here. He's been an alright #1 for a bad team, so I believe he could be a pretty good #2 for us, then Bess in the slot. Keep Hartline too, as the other slot, or incase of injury

Maybe we'll get Justin Smiley back.. we should cut Jerry to make room for him.

we need a kick returner. only if he returns kicks. because we need a guy like that more than anything else.

Not sure why Moore and the the other guy are on our roster when they suck with special teams.

How is this guy a good #2? Sounds like they want to trade b/c he can't get open enough to catch a cold.

Remember last time we got a Jag receiver?

IMissGadsden
10-10-2010, 09:06 PM
^^^^^^this. Ernest Wilford, anyone? Maybe the Jags know what they're doin when they cut players.

Anyone can have one good year like Sims-Walker had last year. We see one-year wonders all the time from receivers. Who's to say Sims-Walker isn't the latest?

Just say NO! We need all of our draft picks, we traded away our #2 for Brandon Marshall and now only have 6 picks left.

Just say NO! We need all of our draft picks, we traded away our #2 for Brandon Marshall and now only have 6 picks left.

I know, we need those all important draft picks for players like: white, nalbone, turner, donald thomas (who is better than any backup currently on the roster) etc.

Sims-Walker is better than moore and wallace. Worst case scenario you just have him running down the field when Marshall draws double coverage.
