SAN DIEGO -- Vincent Jackson (http://www.nfl.com/players/vincentjackson/profile?id=JAC627460)'s agent said he has told the Chargers that the wide receiver will report next week and sign his contract tender.

By reporting Oct. 29, Jackson will be able to serve a three-game, team-imposed suspension on the roster exempt list, then play in the final six games to accrue his sixth season toward unrestricted free agency.

Is it just me or does it seem like he got some bad advice from somebody. I think he would have had more value if he would blown out an ACL as opposed to acting like a baby and holding out for so this long. It is gunna make teams think twice before giving him the contract he thinks he deserves.

Well I think Vincent Jackson wins..He held out and is still going to get pretty decent money..

I wonder if the Chargers will even activate him tho?

I think its safe to say they are dead in the water..So why even throw him the ball?
