So I guess the dolphins should draft players who's moms are hookers after all. Damn! That dude was doing that with a freakin cave man at QB! Once again Nice Job Ireland and Parcells. Cudos!!!

Dez Bryant sums up what this regime is not about: drafting star playmakers. This regime is about meat and potatoes guys, even at the skill positions. Don't get me wrong, to make a great meal we need the meat and potatoes. But you better have some flashy desserts as well.

Give me a roster of 5 playmakers and the rest mediocre, instead of a roster full of "tough guys."

You game plan against playmakers. You don't gameplan against a guy like Odrick, or Misi, or Dobbins.

Or 5 linebackers in one draft...one who was drafted in the 4th SPECIFICALLY to cover the pass only.

Would anyone trade AJ Edds and Pat White for Anquan Boldin right now? Yet we keep getting told how valuable draft picks are and a 2nd and a 4th is too steep a price for a guy like Anquan cause we need a wildcat QB and a pass coverage specialist.

I want them to trade all their future draft picks for players cause I am terrified of what special teams gunner we are going to draft in the 2nd round this year

well ive heard when you draft the player you draft the family (ex. Ted Ginn) so therefore we didnt wanna draft a prostitute...

Yeah Parcells and Ireland did do a great job. Do you happen to know anyone by the names of Jake Long and Vontae Davis??

That's right...Sit down.

honestly what difference would Dez Bryant make anyway? we still have Henning as OC...

and to be fair, before you dismiss Odrick and say he was a bad pick we havent really seen what he brings to the table because someone rolled onto his leg in week 1...the dudes got freakish size and is very athletic, hes also got a non stop motor. I think he wouldve been doing a good job this season had he not gotten injured.

How much money can you have wrapped up at the WR position? We already have Marshall, and now Bess has a sizable extension. Giving Dez the big contract he would have gotten at 12 would have wrapped up too much money in WR IMO. Yeah, he's gonna be good, but WR ain't our problem.

just going to throw my 2 cents in...i wanted Dez as i also wanted them to keep T.Ginn ...we needed another WR on the other side of Marshall...now i know Ginn stunk but his speed would have opened up some room for Marshall same with Dez...but i guess like one of the posters stated Henning would of screw it up.....Marshall -- Dez --Bess and Ginn would not have been that bad....just saying

Funny, I recall alot of people that wanted Dez Bryant pre-draft. If this regime wasnt going to upgrade at TE, which they didnt, I was all for Bryant across from Marshall. Many were actually........

nicks is nice him and dez are the 2 imo first or second year wrs and future franchise players at their positions of the next decade...

but i can't even though i wanted nicks at #25 say that i'm in any way upset with getting vontae davis...

as for bryant can't hold nicks jock...lol you guys do realize that nicks wasn't the playmaker quite last year that dez has been to date in his rookie season...dez just needs roy williams to be sent packing and then it's gonna be on...year in and year out he's gonna dominate

they both are...big wrs with great soft hands and physical players...

Yeah I agree, both are extremely fun talents to watch. Just flat out playmakers.

I can't be disappointed with drafting Vontae over Nicks (though I wanted Nicks bad). Franchise corners are pretty hard to find and their impact on a game is tremendous. Especially since Vontae is a force in the running game.

However passing on Dez at #12 or even Earl Thomas for a Three for One package of Odrick, Misi, and Dobbins doesn't looks as appealing right now.

Yea, who needs pass rushers. Not an important part of the game at all. Give me Misi, Odrick, and then a guy in this years extremely deep WR class any day of the week over Dez Bryant.
