Hey, in this league, you make your own luck. They have playmakers, plain and simple. With all the retreads and troublemakers that they got in the past two years, they've made it work and they deserve credit.

That said, I still hate those ****s.

No, He just likes to tease Jets fans. At the end of the year, it will be just another year without a Super Bowl appearance.

If God was truly a Jets fan He would have done better than giving them Sanchez as a QB.

Well, take solace in the fact that this jets team is no powerhouse with a D that allows a rookie QB a couple of games into his career battle them into overtime. If the Jets win the Super Bowl it will take as much luck and good fortune as execution. Barely winning week in and out does not make for a great team, but they are good.

I wouldn't go that far.

Jets continue to luck out, but that's how it goes sometimes. We'll see if it's because they're that good (catch in OT to extend drive for missed FG was awesome), or if the luck runs out when teams play smarter (Stuckey fumble that probably wins game for Browns).

yeha but if it weren't for 2 retarded missed fg's stuckey doesn't even have a chance to fumble. and hey....the jets defense caused th efumble....they made a play when they needed to. a littel bit late since they shouldn't have even given up the tying td but such is life.

He didn't lose family members in a plane crash - terrorist attack so he probably doesn't understand why suggesting that our football team die in a plane crash would be construed as so offensive. Clearly a football team getting lucky in a couple of football games is worthy of that. *sarcastic*

But of course I'M the troll for taking offense to this. The fact that I've had nothing but constructive discussions concerning the Dolphins has nothing to do with it.

 Right...I would say he ranks right there with Culpepper, Beck and Lucas.

He is definitely behind Fiedler, Pennington, Ferotte.

Sanchez does two things well...play action in which defenses and scrambles. As a pocket passer he SUCKS! Inaccurate, mistake prone, and lacks leadership skills. The coaches take the ball out of his hands as much as they can.

And before you say it, today's game was Holmes and piss-poor tackling by Cleveland DBs on that play, not Sanchez.

My g/f said the same thing. Well she said "they must have made a deal with the devil". Those guys could EASILY be 4-5. They beat the Broncos on a 4th and 15 ish on a 50 yard pass interference call, they beat the Lions because they're too stupid to run the ball with under 2 mins left, and no TO's for the Jets, then miss tackles on LT and then hit him when he's out of bounds to put them in FG range, then beat the Browns because they drop a give me INT, ala Sean Smith style and then once the Browns get in FG range they FUMBLE!!! Good lord these guys catch every break possible week after week against crappy opponents. Sanchez has had at least 6 give me, little league INT's dropped. Every QB gets lucky with dropped INT's from time to time but Ive NEVER seen a QB have soooo many easy INT's dropped. The sick part is the media talks about how ****ing great Sanchez and the Jets are when Sanchez could very easily have twice as many INT's and the Jets SHOULD be no better than 5-4.

the question is why is stuckey trying to reach for more and risk losing the ball, when he already got the first down and were close if not in field goal range already. made no sense.

2nd bold- your kicker did miss three fieldgoals, but that is because he sucks. u guys knew ur kicker suck, yet did nothing about it. also, aside from the 24 yd, the other ones werent chip shots.

also, their is a difference between a fg kicker missing a fg bc he sucks, and a player not going out of bounds at ur 32 when hes already in fg range for no reason.

whatever u guys won, and u will prob be 9-2 going into to foxboro unfortunately for us, but u guys will lose a few games in december.

What is that difference? Both players failed to do their jobs but only one is lucky?

You can keep plugging your ears and screaming Folk sucks but that isn't going to make it any more true. He had a bad year with an injured hip last year and a bad game yesterday. Outside of that he was and is a good kicker. All kickers miss field goals, it happens.

I suppose it was also lucky the Jets traded Stuckey last year so that he could be in the position to fumble the ball for them this year right? Maybe we all saw yesterday why the Jets traded him in the first place, or maybe they just got lucky on that on too?

This is 3 games that we have won thanks great play by Sanchez and Holmes. How many more do they need to win before it stops becoming luck and starts becoming habit?

I had a similar discussion on another board. This "luck" is subjective. The Jets could be anywhere from 4-5 to 9-0 depending on how you spin "luck". What's the answer then? As the mighty Tuna said, you are what your record says you are. It's really that simple.

If you Dolphin fans had any brains at all, you would realize that EVERY team gets good breaks and bad breaks during every game. Losers cry about the bad breaks (didn't you get the ball back after the Steelers scored???) ... good teams overcome bad breaks (like 3 missed FG's) and take advantage of a small crack and kick the door down (see NYJ ... 7-2).

We're in 1st place in the Division ... AND the conference because we have some of the best players in the NFL on our team, and they play hard for 60 minutes ... or more if necessary.

Even though we'll have things pretty much wrapped up by then ... I'm going to enjoy the ***-whipping we put on you next month.

BTW ... for those of you who lost track ... after 9 games ...
Brandon Marshall - 1 TD
Patrick Chung (Pats DB) - 1 TD
Dwight Lowery (Jets DB) - 1 TD

Should be a close race to the finish.
I'll give Marshall the slight edge since the other two guys only play on defense.

can you please tell me who some of the best players in the nfl on the jets are? aside from revis as a top 5 cb in the nfl, who the **** do you guys have on your team that would classify as one of the best players in the nfl?

First of all ... We have 16 1st round draft picks on our roster ... MOST in the NFL. Do you think those guys were drafted in the 1st round because they can't play??? Collectively, we have the most talented roster in the league ... and that's what matters ... not having one or two superstars and a bunch of filler.

Ever hear of Santonio Holmes?? Ladanian Tomlinson?? Nick Mangold??? Cromartie??? D'brick???? Dustin Keller??? Tony Richardson??? Damien Woody??? David Harris???
Do I really need to go on? Do you think those guys aren't among the best in the league at their positions?

Good talent + Good coaching = Best Record in the NFL.
It's not an accident ... and it's not that complicated.

I'd love to think that pounding your team into the ground would shut you ****ing jests fans up once and for all. Unfortunately, unlike you, i'm smart enough to realize that jests fans are too ****ing stupid to ever shut the hell up. arrogant mother****ers anyway.

What a GREEEEEEAT 8 days this will be ... all you Dolphin fans stewing for 10 days over being humiliated at home ... watching the Jets win on Sunday to go 8-2 .... and then throwing up your turkey and Aunt Molly's apple pie watching the Jets go to 9-2 ... and then you go into the Black Hole to get pimp-slapped into 5-6 oblivion ... and what number are we drafting? ... and see you in 2011 ... OH BABY!!!!

Keep crying

I'm not a Dolphins fan so you must be referring to someone else in this thread. Maybe yourself or maybe the ultimate cry baby ilovemyfins4eva?

lol, where do i cry about things? just because i believe the jets are getting very fortunate this year in some games in which i have not seen any teams get as many breaks before, does not mean i am crying.

as a matter of fact, i am a really happy person actually. i don't cry over things.its just a message board, maybe u take things way to seriously and all, but i am just having fun trying to piss jet fans off. its just a game.

i fully expect u guys to be 9-2 going into New England, and will see from there.

You made this thread to cry.

Nearly every post you make on this site mentions the Jets and how lucky they are. If you aren't talking about how lucky they are you are crying about living in NY and hearing about the Jets. Face it, you cry a lot.

But by all means keep crying. Little ***** fin fan tears taste oh so delicious.

firs of all, get your facts straight. i didnt make this thread.

secondly, im not crying that i live in ny and hear jet fans, as a matter of fact i love it, i love when the fins win and u guys lose and watch and listen to u jet fans suffer. it hasn't happened yet, but this is the month where it all goes downhill for you guys.

i hope you enjoyed the cupcakes in november, because the fun and games are over.

My bad I hadn't looked at the OP in awhile. Your post about committing suicide if the Jets win the superbowl just sticks out to me. That might not even be this thread but ever since I read that pathetic post all I can think about when I see Fins fans bitching is that post. I do know you had a doozy of a post in here, it's just it was awhile ago so I forgot it's exact content.

We have been enjoying the cupcakes all season dude. We beat cupcakes like the Fins and Pats on the way to this shiny 9-2 record. Keep predicting the Jets downfall though, you will be right eventually. Just might have to wait a few years.
