Just heard that the Jets released Patrick Turner (well at least they didn't spend a third round draft pick on him)

So he went to New York, took out their starting safety and then got cut. I like it.

Weird 3 days after we played them, They used him to get some information I guess.

They likely tried.. but realized they had nothing.

Not much of a surprise. There are not many guys we release that turn out to be great somewhere else.

How did he even manage to last that long?

JCotchrocket;

Patrick Turner is the worst human being. Ever.

I'd like to time travel back to 1985 and throat-**** Mrs. Turner to death. Jim Leonhard would still be healthy, Danny Woodhead would still be on the team, the Jets would be 13-0 and I'd've busted a nut 80's-style, ala the hot tub movie.

Win-win-win-win-win. (It's how Mrs. Turner would've wanted to go).

He actually made a couple of plays for us when Cotchery was out, he didn't look bad. This surprises me a little.

I think he was let go so they can bring up Jarron Gilbert because some team was going to sign him off of practice squad.

And it wasn't Turner for why Danny Woodhead was let go, I believe it was them signing Clowney.
