Game's about to kick off here in a few mins.

I'm taking Oregon, 48-45.

Have a feeling it'll be whoever has the ball last.

I think it will be which ever team scores the most.

Then again, I thought Sparano was going to get fired, so what do I know.

I wonder if the new turf is too slippery. Lots of guys falling down. I don't think it will be that high scoring.

Auburn 31 Oregon 27

Turnovers left and right here!

LaMichael James is going to be the next Ray Rice and MJD....he is so fast and hard to tackle.

Roman529

Another turnover. Wow.

0-0 whoda thunk it. In all honesty I think Oregon is heads and shoulders above Auburn

This game might determine if Newton falls to us or not.

Man this LaMichael James is something else, wow he is quick and fast.

He's quick, fast, and staying in school. Bummer. Both teams have speed in abundance but Oregon is ridiculous though a bit undersized. Have to see if that catches up to them in the second half.

That kid I feel is gonna be special, his change of direction is nice. His size might be a issue in the NFL, but if u have watched him he runs pretty tuff for a little dude. I would suggest picking up some muscle and he might be a C. johson/ j. Charles type player. Those two guys are great at change of direction backs.
Lamichael James also seems to be a low gravity runner witch makes him hard to see and tackle. Great spin move to, But dam Oregon does some crazy offensive college plays! Lol

I hope he falls past us, guy doesn't look like a first rounder to me.

was thinking the same thing, although, the same could be said about Auburn's size wearing down Oregon later in the game.

Casey Matthews lookin good as are Delvin Roe and Cliff Harris (not eligible). Jeffery Maehl on offense for Oregon looks good as a late round WR prospect.

Newton doesn't look awful. The INT was a poor read, but you can see talent. I dunno if it is talent we want though

After that short throw for the sure TD, he might.

01-10-2011, 10:52 PM
The other back thats impressed me is caleb for auburn, dude is a burner..seems a little thin but has great speed.

That throw was brutal. Henne-esque.

I'll take Newton...he is not Daunte Culpooper.

Stugots13
01-10-2011, 10:55 PM
If he doesn't completely explode for the rest of the game to redeem himself, he won't even look like a first rounder to me.

Gonzo

This is a weird game.

You mean McCaleb?

PJack

Great throw by Newton there. Stepped up in the pocket to dodge the rush had the vision to find the guy down the sideline. Never see Henne doing that.

Is it me or does Newton have a weird throwing motion?

Oregon doesn't match up well with physical teams.

Ricky_Fan34

Yeah Oregon can't do anything offensively. It's actually a pretty boring game to watch.

I like the formation AU is using; Cam in the Pistol, FB (upback in a Single wing position) & TB 7 yds deep except they are behind the Guard/Tackle Gap.

I wonder if Henning has any regrets about not using this formation against the Bears? :d-day:

I did not think this game would "break the scoreboard" but am disappointed its not a shootout.

Oregon is more flash than real substance, but you gotta think kickers and linters would love to play for Chip Kelly!

Great coaches all around. Kelly or Malzahn as phins next OC?

Jeff Maehl is money

I had Oregon winning. I didnt think Auburn could stop their offense. Never again will I pick a pac-10 (or any other offense) to destroy a SEC defense.

tylerdolphin
01-11-2011, 12:52 AM
Damn. Huge fumble. Oregon might win this yet.

As I type this Thomas throws one right into a Tigers chest, but its dropped.

I want a 19-19 tie....then OT.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! all tied up.

Would have loved to have seen Stanford play Auburn. A much better offensive scheme against that defense. I can't for the life of me understand an offensive scheme where you leave Nick Fairley unblocked on any play and Oregon did it repeatedly.

Gonzo
01-11-2011, 01:18 AM
Wow. Ended up being a really good game.

Man, this is depressing. Only a few more weeks until the offseason, draft disappointment, and possible lockout. Followed by Sparano-ball if we're "lucky."

Ricky_Fan34

can't believe the game came down to such a bull**** call. No integrity in that rule at all. What a load of ****.

Sorry, I hate the Ducks lol And I have to work with a bunch of Duck fans since I live in Oregon

If I were Chip Kelly I wouldn't leave Oregon for anything less than another HC job. That being said, I'd love for him to leave Oregon lol

It seemed to be part of their scheme where the QB is supposed to force that defender to choose between the RB and QB. Problem was Fairley and Auburn was getting there before the QB could blink.

With my alma mater moving to the PAC, Any advantage that the Utes can get is a good one.... like playing a Saban coached team.

The title game and Rose Bowl were arguably 2 of the best games ever.
