Mike Tannenbaum has done a great job overall but that was one of the worst decisions he's ever made to draft Gholston.

He was ahigh pick and alot of money was invested in him. No Coach or Gm wants to admit a failure w/ a top pick so they kept giving him chances.

You still living in the 80s?? The Jets are a pretty strong drafting team under Tannenbaum... Gholston was his 1 big mistake..

I'm guessing the Jets should cut Ferguson, Shonn Greene, David Harris, Dustin Keller, Nick Mangold, Darrelle Revis, Mark Sanchez, Matt Slauson and Brad Smith too. Let me tell you the Dolphins have drafted so much better than the Jets

Every single 3-4 team would have drafted gholston. He had the type of ability that doesn't come around very often. Same goes for Aaron maybin though.

They should have moved on from him a LONG time ago. Nothing more than a workout warrior at the Combine.

He never did much of anything for them.

The last 15 years or so the Jets have been one of the best drafting teams(w/ the exception of the 3 years Parcells ran our drafts) so yeah he must be young and you must be old still living in the 80s.

I wouldn't go that far back. We did pick up some useless picks during that time

Even the best drafting teams have busts from time to time. Overall the Jets have drafted very well which is one the main reasons the Jets have been one of the best teams in the AFC.

Its silly to think that the Jets should've gave up on Gholston so early especially costing that high of a draft pick. Could you imagine if this team gave up on Soliai and another team scooped him and he turned out to be the player that he is today? Question that us dol-fans should be asking is why the Fins haven't given up on Crowder.
