Before you state the obvoiuos...nobody can absolutely discard the option of a defensive stud being available either @15 (fallen player), or if we trade back...Is there a S, ILB, pass rusher worth the pick? I´m sure a JJWatt, Aldon Smith, Aaron Wiliams (CB), Martez Wilson (ILB, top rated by Mayock), Rahim Moore or Black the Safeties are getting due diligence looks...Crazy as it may seem, with our dismal Offense, are any of these prospects too good to pass up?

I haven't ruled it out completely. Miami still isn't good enough to draft just for "need" only. If Prince or Quinn drop to 15, you gotta think Miami is going to be chompin at the bit. This is very much a passing league, and what better way to help your pass defense by getting another potential shut down CB or another pass rushing specialist with the type of ability of a Quinn. Forget about any safety or DE in round 1 (unless you have a deal for a Kendall Langford, who is in the last year of his deal . . . if that is even possible with this lockout). Forget about ILB as well.
I find it hard for those 2 guys to drop to 15 . . . so it is definitely looking like either trade down, QB, Ingram, Green/Jones or OL.

If Von Miller dropped or one of those top 2 CBs but that's about it. We are a team that has to draft players in areas of need and our defense is pretty solid right now, there are much more pressing needs on the offensive side of the ball. Unless someone takes a major slide in the first I don't see us going defense, and even then someone would probably be will to pay a premium for #15 with Pats coming up soon and being an infamous BPA team that needs help on D.

If the Dolphins stay at 15 the player who could make the most impact is Ryan Kerrigan.
Obtaining Kerrigan would allow the Dolphins to move Misi inside where I believe he could become an all pro Mike LB.
This one move would drastically improve the pass rush. Kerrigan is going to be a beast of a pass rusher and being an academic all american hewill learn the plays and sets and his individual responsibilities quickly. He is an every down guy with a huge motor. This is the true value pick in my opinion.
Misi doesn't have good edge rushing ability but he does have great explosion and a great bull rush. I think his skills transfer perfectly to blitzing up the middle, and he has already shown his coverage and tackling ability.
I think the Dolphins are going to trade down to try and get a 2nd or another 3rd, but I would rather trade Starks,Merling,Jerry,Sap,Culver,Crowder,Dobbins,Carey, etc. to get the 2nd rounder or other extra picks, and stay at 15. I wouldn't be upset with Gabe Carimi either.

As long as we dont draft another defensive linemen i'll be alright with it personally if somebody like Amukamara falls i'd take him or Miller.
