HELLS YES!!!! LMAO!!! GO VOTE. i know that jake wont get the cover but it would be awsome to atleast knock sanchez out.

You still have a few more days to select which players advance from the first round of the Madden 12 cover tournament (http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/feature/madden2012cover).

ESPN.com video game writer Jon Robinson blogged some updates (http://espn.go.com/espn/thelife/videogames/blog/_/name/thegamer/id/6251681/madden-nfl-12-cover-vote-update) Thursday, and New York Jets (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/nyj/new-york-jets) quarterback Mark Sanchez (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=12482) is having a tougher time than expected with Miami Dolphins (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/mia/miami-dolphins) left tackle Jake Long (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11234).

Other surprises include Denver Broncos (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/den/denver-broncos) quarterback Tim Tebow (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=13200) getting thumped by Kansas City Chiefs (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/kc/kansas-city-chiefs) running back Jamaal Charles (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11307).

The battle between Buffalo Bills (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/buf/buffalo-bills) receiver Steve Johnson (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11458) and New England Patriots (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ne/new-england-patriots) running back Danny Woodhead (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11788) wasn't mentioned.

If you're a gamer who wants a sneak preview, you can watch the Madden 12 highlight videos for each of the 32 entries in the bracket.

My vote would be for 2011 Madden cover to be ....

A picture of the owners "Making it Rain" ... wonder if EA Sports has photoshop?

03-27-2011, 05:38 AM
Why do they show the same highlight in different angles for Long...?

03-27-2011, 08:44 AM
I'm absolutely not voting for Jake. You want him injured all next season? I dont want him anywhere near that cover!

03-27-2011, 12:55 PM
Madden sucks anyway. I'm not voting.

If Sanchez wins and gets hurt, they're going to freak up there like they haven't freaked since Testeverde got smashed up.

I...........Love.............Tecmo Bowl.

Futher, neither Sanchez nor Jake will win out for the cover. So, we may as well vote Jake past Sanchez for the small insignificant victory that it is. Something else to be considered here, we also have to contend with troupes of internet addicted 7th grade girls who recently found out that anything is possible.

Who the hell is steve johnson?

Who the hell is steve johnson?

With or without sarcasm, either way is funny.

Just shows how much the fans can't stand the Jets and their loudmouth douchebag of a coach. I can't see any other reason a "star" QB would be barely scraping by an offensive lineman...

No!!!!!! We need Sanchez to win.

Exactly. Further, I'm surprised St. Tebow is not doing well.

Why tempt a curse?

03-27-2011, 07:27 PM
Well we know Jake is tough as nails, so even if The Curse injures him, we know he can still play through it. On the other hand, if Sanchez gets cursed he won't be able to play and Mark Brunell will come in and perform better. So maybe we should rather have Jake win the vote. :ponder:
