Well, on a whim I bought a bunch of a generic version of these at Dollar Tree. - The zero calorie/zero sugar version. For the last couple of days I've been taking them about 30mins before getting out on the bike. Wow!!! It feels like I'm shot out of a cannon!. And today I'd still be out there if not for work/time constraints.

I'm a born skeptic especially when it comes to overhyped oversaturated commercial spots, but this ****ing stuff definitely works.

You broke one of my personal rules right out of the gate. I'll buy almost anything from a dollar store, except a food product.

Glad you are still with us, Vaark.

Dollar Tree has developed into a huge national chain with a very active stock. I've been in their stores literally from Key West to Blaine Washington. As such, they buy direct instead of from local jobbers and can command the best prices on quality stuff on the basis of massive quantities purchased. They have many of the same name food brands you see at Publix. Unlike the little mom and pop dollar stores which purchase from middlemen, sell stuff near expiry date, and open and close quickly all over south florida, this is a huge corporation with stock equity at stake; as a result I've got a reasonably high level of trust when purchasing from them. Again this friggin stuff delivers beyond any of my expectations.

Surprising. I'd have thought you'd be rooting for me to be gone before the next MM. http://www.finheaven.com/clear.gif

Rooting for your demise just to win a contest? Never.

But keep eating stuff from a dollar store and I won't have to worry about it.

:D

I figured that I wasn't the only one who used Five Hour Energy. Much like Vaark, I'm a major skeptic of most energy drinks and half of the time they make you crash pretty quickly. Not Five Hour Energy, this stuff will have you going all day long. I love it, and I would recommend it to anybody that was thinking about trying it.

I have tried all kinds of those things and I can tell no difference after taking them. They do nothing for me.

I think I was one of the last people on the planet to try Red Bull, stuck with it for a while. The first two are great, cans 3 through 8 don't do ****. When I was pulling an all nighter at work, I put two caffeine tablets in my third. It helped somewhat.

:chuckle: That's because the weed counteracted it.

That's a bad idea Vaark. When you take the "shots" or whatever they are, they give you energy, but also speed up your heart rate. Add that to riding on a bike which obviously speeds up your heart = bad idea. It can mess you up extremely bad.

Little known fact... Vaark also has an ecstasy problem, and takes to cheese faster than a mouse. That ticker of his has to be his third.

Do they sell 5 hour energy in packs, or only singles? They had it at the checkout for $3 a piece. Looked pretty small considering it isn't whiskey. I know what I'm gonna get out of that.
