I just seen on the news that there was another earthquake and they now have a tsunami warning but I can't find a link just yet. The earthquake was a 7.4

Those people just cant catch a break at the moment. Its expected though after the huge 9.0 magnitude quake that you will get more after it.

It never really stopped, but yes, a 7 is pretty serious. They've had aftershocks of 5+ practically every day since March 11. In the following week, they were getting about twenty a day of that magnitude.

Mexico had a 6.5 magnitude quake this morning, as well.

The biggest one I think I've ever been in was a 6 or 7, strangest feeling I've ever felt. Sounds like a train coming, then waves after waves go through whatever room you're in.

Poor Japan, they just can't catch a break.

We had one in MD about a year ago, woke me up because I thought a truck hit the side of the building. Got on the net and within about 15 minutes it started getting reported. I think it was like a 2.5-3.0, but that never happens here so it was a weird experience.

The one I was in hit San Jose or something and then it's waves came all the way out into the valley, which is basically all sand and nothing else.

I have never been in one. I was talking to a lady the other day who is the grandmother of two twin girls on my daughter's tee-ball team and she is from CA and she was there with they had the really bad one back in 94?? She said it was crazy insane.

The Northridge one? It was blown out of proportion, could have been alot worse than it was.

Ok. I know '89 had people freaking out that it was a prelude to "The Big One."
