Amen B-Marsh. If the Phins pass on Mallet for a less talented but less expensive prospect we will all regret it.

If Mallet is available at #15 and we pass i will seriously start wondering about this teams dedication to winning, and ability to identify talent. As well as reconsidering my continued support(in both time and money invested) for a franchise that clearly either doesn't care or has no idea what it is doing.

I just hope that this front office is smart enough to make this potential combo happen. Marshall hates Henne, he's too soft for him. Marshall clearly plays better with an alpha male personality at QB.

The closer we get to the draft, the more I want Mallett. I just can't shake the feeling that after a few close scares he'll fall right into our laps......And Ireland will pass. God I hope I'm wrong.

I'm setting myself up for disappointment by allowing myself to believe we'll actually take the kid.

You know it's going to be another lineman.

I think Marshall was just watching ESPN, saw the Jon Gruden QB Camp thing, and was just impressed with Mallett's whiteboard work. Notice he said the only thing he needs to work on is his handwriting...he was watching Mallett up on the whiteboard. He was impressed and tweeted about it.

Nice endorsement there. Maybe he's hearing something from the camp, illegally mind you.

Has Marshall tweeted about any other draft prospect up to this point?

If not, just goes to show what position the players on this team think Ireland and company need to focus on.

He has not but in unrelated news Marshall is more explosive than ever according to his speed trainer.

I wonder how Marshall felt about Fins putting Dalton through the "Diva Receiver Test".

Also I could care less what Marshall thinks about Mallet. He was down on Henne and I was equally down on his(Marshall's) performance last year. He didnt make plays like the #1 receiver he claims to be. When he did make catches, he showed no escapability. And I still have the image of Cromartie out jumping him to pick a ball off. I mean, hes on the sidelines, screaming for the ball, gets a ball thrown to him so he can go up and get it, and he lets the smaller cb outjump him. I'm sorry, but Marshall needs to better his performance as well in the upcoming year.

That being said, I would be ok with Mallet in 1st round but would much rather have Ponder. And Andy Dalton cannot be drafted in the 1st round.

Boy if this doesn't scream smokescreen to me . . . I know all the Mallet talk gets people excited, but I would prefer to hear nothing and be surprised on draft day.
