A single racist manager could simply print it on the letterhead though...

it really doesn't matter if it was real or not, because all the fat, black, nasty bytches would still go there and take their obese kids with them. this is why we have 12 year olds in this country weighing nearly 200 pounds, so maybe mickie d's should implement some kind of tax for the fat, so it could help curtail some of this childhood obesity.

not sure why any race of people would eat at this or any fast food chain, knowing the food is killing them slowly anyway...

The Dollar Menu IMO is the single biggest "obesity" move the Fast Food Industry has dealt people. Now a days, you can get a combo from a place like Subway for $6 . . . similar to McDonalds combos . . . but who can compete with getting 6 double cheeseburgers for that price? Hell that same black family can feed a family of 6 for $13 when you throw in 2 bucket of fries and 6 50 cent sodas from the corner store.

Everything is based around the dollar . . . the best bang for my buck . . . regardless of health issues going forward.

I'm a chubby fellow and I agree all fast food joints should charge A LOT more than they do, kids today don't have time to cook or run to the store, so they pop thru the McRonalds drive thru and order a few burgers and spend less than 5 bucks. Probably over 1,000 calories just eaten. That's just my opinion though. And I don't even eat fast food.

And he used to be in the Navy, so he couldn't have always been that big. And that's my goal weight wise. Get down to 200 pounds and join the Navy.

People need more self control rather than raising prices of junk food. Why should I pay more for a pissant cheeseburger just b/c someone else can't control their need for grease?

If a small child keeps getting on your laptop and clicks onto porn websites what should you do? You've already punished him time and time again for doing it, yet he keeps coming back. You put a password on that mother****er.

Put a password on the McDonalds dollar menu for only skinny people.

McDonald's racist Twitter message was hoax

An Internet hoax tripped up McDonald's over the weekend, when a photo of an authentic-looking company letter appeared on Twitter.

It reads: "As an insurance measure, due in part to a recent string of robberies, African-American customers are now required to pay an additional fee of $1.50 per transaction."

After the photo created a storm of anger, McDonald's released a statement on its official Twitter page, saying, "That pic is a senseless & ignorant hoax. McD's values ALL our customers. Diversity runs deep in our culture on both sides of the counter."

If they can tax the **** out of tobacco and alcohol, they should be taxing the **** out of fast food. The French and Japanese live much longer and healthier than we do, and they smoke a lot more.

I'll take it down. I hope you really were joking though. Along with dre who's probably another 10-15 pounds away from being obese himself. More than 20 pounds over normal weight is considered obese, people seem to think that you have to be 300 pounds to be obese. It's a body mass index thing.

PhinzN703 is more on point

I don't care if you take it down or not. That's what I look like and while i'm not proud of it, I'm currently changing it anyways.

And ofcourse I was joking, do you really take that post as being serious and only letting skinny people order food off the dollar-menu? Apparently you have a ****ty sense of humor.

And why do you care what somebody weighs? Worry about yourself and not other people when it comes to that sort of thing.

rob19
06-15-2011, 01:39 PM
I don't care what people weigh, and that's why I'm not advocating taxing cheeseburgers.

Also from reading your previous post it wasn't exactly easy to infer you weren't being serious

and I agree all fast food joints should charge A LOT more than they do,

There is no reason people can eat decent meals on a daily basis, none. They just choose not to do so. I haven't had a damn microwave in over a year and I love not having it now because it made me a better eater.

I love fast food and I love booze but I don't drink every day so why would I eat fast food everyday?

This "blame everyone else for my poor decisions" attitude is the problem, not fast food joints with a dollar menu.

It is hard to blame anybody for the "poor decisions" people make, but it is equally naive to believe a family of 5, with the parents working 2 jobs and kids taking the bus home and are given 3 dollars for dinner arent' going to jump on a Dollar Menu Dinner for McDonalds. The American Dream doesn't exist in many parts of the country, and alot of it requires eating unhealthy to get by. I have a nephew that just got accepted to take part in a trip to Europe next summer for his excellence in band. It requires payment of 6 thousand dollars. This is a kid that eats healthy and spends money to eat healthy, but now must stop eating the $10 Grilled Chicken Bowl from Chipolte and settle for the Dollar Menu and the $5 Large Little Caesars Pizza to save up. Parents can't afford for him to go, but want him to go . . . so they take on extra hours and can't cook at a decent hour.

I mean fact is, it is cheaper to eat unhealthy. Even at the store, I see Healthy Choice Frozen dinners for $3.50 . . . I see the garbage Banquet dinners for $1.00. Orange Juice is $3.50 for 59 oz, Hawaiin Punch is $1.99 for a 128 oz. Baked Lays Potato Chips are never on sale and cost $4.00, the regular greasy Lays can be had for Buy 1, Get 1.

Yes part is self control, no doubt about it . . . but the advertising world and fast food places don't do people many favors either.

i agree about the self control part.however there is something to consider when people set a standard of living.if a certain precedence is set in a family structure, there is no reason to believe that even the kids won't follow it.

a friend of mine is vegetarian, and his kids won't ask for candy or junk food because they don't even know what it is..its all about setting a standard early on,and if they grow up and still want junk, then at least they will know what is good and what is bad for them.its up to parents to let their families realize this.
