"Jackass" star Ryan Dunn died (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/06/20/ryan-dunn-dead-jackass-star-car-crash_n_880322.html) last night in a tragic car crash at the age of 34.

The film and television actor apparently crashed his car around 3 a.m. EDT last night at the intersection of Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania. TMZ confirmed (http://www.tmz.com/2011/06/20/jackass-ryan-dunn-dies-dead-car-crash-accident-pennsylvania/) the death with April Margera, the mother of fellow "Jackass" star Bam Margera.

This sucks. He was one of my favorites.

But when drinking and driving possibly 110mph, that usually equals injury or death.

Pontius was always my favorite (Bunny the lifeguard). Dunn was always the really calm one though. It's hard to imagine a calm person on that show, but it was him.

It's up to you to feel/think whatever you want. You didn't know him, he didn't know you. It's pointless either way

No one deserves to go out the way he did. Drunk driving or not, I can't think of a worse way to die after looking at what's left of his car. I'm going to choose to celebrate his life and the hours and hour of laughter he brought me instead of focusing on how/why he died. The dude lived life fast and wreckless, I suppose it's somewhat poetic that he ended his life in the same fashion...

No one deserve to die, but I can't feel sorry for a guy who drinks and then drives. It wasn't a freak accident or sliding on ice, he is dead today because he chose to break the law, drive under the influence and put himself and most importantly OTHERS in danger. Much better it was him that died rather than an innocent driver or worse children.

It is sad when anyone dies, but the good news is that there is one less drunk on the road. Plus the crazy thing is my business does a lot of work up in West Goshen Township, so I know the area and if it was later in the day he easily could have killed one of my co-workers. I wasn't up that way today, but what if I was, he could have killed me. Can't feel sorry for him.

zero chance it's a hoax. They said they had to identify him by the tattoo's on his chest. Where his body was so burned and tore up I guess.

Completely understandable way to look at the situation. I was in no way excusing his behavior. Absolutely no one's fault but his own that he is dead right now. I've watched the Jackass crew back since they were just extras in those old CKY videos. I grew up with these guys, so it sucks seeing one of them go out like that. I wasn't criticizing your response or anything of the sort, so I hope it didn't come off like I was...

Nope, you didn't come across that way, I just get upset when I see people drinking and driving. I don't care if it is a Dolphins player, friend or family member it is inexcusable to do. Luckily I haven't had any family members or friends involved in drunk driving crashes but that doesn't mean I can't have a hate towards those who do.

From the standpoint of him being an entertainer with a big fan base, and just being a human being, this is extremely sad news. The way he went though doesn't surprise me and I won't shed a tear for him. He basically committed suicide this morning, I am just glad his life is the only one that was taken. I have said my piece and I don't really want to go on with this discussion and turn this thread into something it wasn't meant to be. I will let you guys who enjoyed his work mourn him for the entertainer he was.

RIP.. you hate to see someone in the prime of life seemingly lose out on many joyful fulfilling years (although I'm sure the holy rollers will declare that it was "gods," "the easter bunny's or whoever's marster plan.

BUT, if he's gonna get behind the wheel drunk and someone has gotta die, much better it was him rather than any innocent bystander.

his friends allowed him to drink and drive.. and now he's fried meat on a slab.. im sure he was a great guy.. but the stupidity of driving a nice car under the influence.. what the hell do you expect?

designated driver for the win.

let this be a lesson to others.. DONT DRINK AND DRIVE. whats worse, he leaves this place known as a jacka$$.. the price of fame for folks who play at mtv..

I never really talked to her about it. I asked her about Steve-O once and she said he is a pretty cool dude, just likes to drink too much. I can see Bam being a douche though. I can't stand that punk...

Here and Steve-O are close. He came into my brothers school to visit on a pretty regular basis.

On a funny note, she told my brothers class that one night when she and Steve-O were both pretty young, they found a breathalyzer and broke into their dads liquor cabinet to try see how how the breathalyzer would go. Turns out it goes pretty high.

Was kind of hoping Margera would be the first to bite the bullet. Dude died because he was driving 140mph, not because he was drunk. Not saying he should have been drunk..but plenty of people drive the speed limit after drinking. Is twice the legal limit even high? Doesn't two beers put you over the limit itself? Hard to believe he would have been so smashed after four beers. I'm not sure how you read those stupid things ;).
