Combining three different but similar genres here. Usual rules apply.

1.) Alice In Chains- Facelift
2.) Soundgarden- Superunknown
3.) Only Living Witness- Prone Mortal Form
4.) The Showdown- Blood in the Gears
5.) Lamb of God- Sacrament
6.) White Zombie- Astro-Creep 2000
7.) Pantera- Cowboys From Hell
8.) Helmet- Meantime
9.) Down- Down II: A Bustle in Your Hedgerow
10.) A Life Once Lost- Hunter

One that I mentioned in the thrash thread that actually fits more here is The Dead Eye by The Haunted. Very grooving and bluesy thrash album.

I think that is a few odd choices for your genre you selected.

They kind of combine to make what I generally think of as Southern metal. Unfortunately, there is no definitive genre called Southern metal, so I went with a lot of more grooving and bluesy sounding stuff.
