OK so heres the deal.I've been a fins fan for 40 years. I'm done! No longer can I stand the mediocrity and plain down stupity. I remeber in high school days what a real team looked like. No more, I look at the downward spiral of this team over the last 3 decades and it's truly disheartening. This once pround francise today reminds me of a gutter cat scrowging for it's last meal. Happy to take the scraps of what others have left behind. This morning I threw all my fins peraphenalia in the center of the living room floor. My wife came home from work and said what's all this. I told her I'm done I washed my hands of this team. She said you're kiddin me right. I said does it look like I'm kiddin. She actually had to take a picture and post it on Facebook. I said take it to salvation army, goodwill, burn it the back yard whatever! I don't really care! Gotta give you a little insight on my wife she's a Dr. Actually a specialist. Sorry for rambling but that's what along day of drinking does to you.Drug her to more games at the local sprorts pub than I can count over the years. Only to watch these stupid idiots flounder over and over again. Not only is my wife smokin hot, but she really likes the gristle too! I'm truly a blessed man! Anyhow, sorry for getting off topic but it's been a long trying day. Todays my brothers birthday. He was killed by a drunk driver when he was 18. I Also had to attend my wifes family reuninon today for 7 hours today. But that's not all. I had my 16 yr. old daughter in the ER last night. They suspect she has a tumor on her overie. I'm like God, how much can a person take in a day!! Anyhow, I have high blood pressure. I can't take risking bursting a blood vessel every Sunday screaming at the utter imcompetencey of these idiots anymore! Good luck with many more years of mediocricity. Peace out.

My prayers are with your daughter. This is when you realize priorities and that Miami Dolphins shouldnt really be a huge part of your Life.

Thats what happens when you take the sport of football a little to much

Im happy I dont scream at the TV like a *******. If the games goin that bad I just bring the boat out or 4 wheeler or even golf cart and drive around the nieghboorhood. Football is a weekend hobby for me. Come Monday I still got a family to support win or lose.

Sucks about your family problems. But I agree with Varrk, people should have to earn the right to start a thread.

OK, we in the depths now.

Listen...im sorry that youre going through ****. Id rather no one did. But dont come in here, make a douchebag post, then cap off the post with a ****ing sob story to get my ****ing sympathy. I dont know you. If you wanted to post this in the lounge and ask for prayers and not whine about football, that would be cool. We are a family. But DONT troll the forum and think its cool because you had some stuff happen. Guess what? Everyone has. There are tons of people here that know someone killed by a drunk driver. Tons suffered through cancer. They didnt SPAM the forum and expect me to offer up condolences for it. Seriously. GTFO.

hope your daughter gets better though.

dude, im sorry to hear about the problems that you are having with your family, especially with the news about your daughter. obviously that is more important than the dolphins at this time, as should your immediate family be in general.

However, if you have been a fan for this long, how do you just give them up like that? Have they been poorly run the past decade plus? ya, no one is going to deny that.

But at least you have been able to see the glory days of this franchise, and witness the greatest qb to play the game even though we didnt have a superbowl to show for it.

i so far have gone through nothing but debacles, chaos, our star player just quit on us, countless amount of coaches, 15 different starting qbs, almost as many losing seasons in the past decade as we had total in our first 38 years of existence, 1 playoff appearance in the past 9 season, etc. i can go on and on, but you get the point. after all that i just listed i am still a diehard fan. i never got to see this team be great, i never got to see all that you got to.

you got to stick with your team no matter what. it should be in your blood.

And for the record, I have no problem with FH being a family and people sharing events in their lives. Thats cool. I just have a problem with using it to make a troll post.

You should try Cannabis. It might help with your temperament.

Condolences about your daughter.

Best post you've ever made. It's us 20-somethings that have had to endure all the real pain. Hell, we don't even know what winning as a Dolfan truly feels like. I became a football/Dolphins fan when I was 12. So basically when Dan was on the down slope of his career. I barely even remember those days anyway. You older fans on this forum don't know pain as far as Dolphins football goes. This team has been clown shoes for what seems like forever to me.

You older fans on this forum don't know pain as far as Dolphins football goes. This team has been clown shoes for what seems like forever to me.exactly.

i became remember watching football pretty religiously when i was like 8-9 years old. i loved john elway, loved watching the broncos, etc, but never actually had a real rooting interest in a team then.

when i was around 10 years old, in the 2000 season, that is when i became a diehard fin fan. Now obviously i wasnt effected by losses then as much as i am now due to being older and understanding more.

like when we lost to the raiders 27-0 in the playoffs, i wasnt like real ticked off because i was young. when we lost to the ravens in the playoffs in the 2001 season, 2002 playoff game, which just happened to be the last playoff game we had played until the 2008 season ( who would have thought) i remember it, but again, i was still young, wasnt as pissed as i get now.

it wasnt until 2002 when i started getting real aggravated when we lost games, and the collapse we had at the end of the year killed me like nothing in sports. especially the way we lost to the pats.

but basically, the main point is that myself personally, and im sure many other young people on here, including yourself, have really been through nothing but pain, pain, pain, and more pain. how many people go through 15 starting qbs, 5 head coaches( im not counting johnson since i was barely a big fan during his tenure) as i pointed out, i believe since our expansion year in 66, we had only 6 losing seasons in the franchise history through our first 38 years up until the 2004 season. from the 2004-2010 season, we have had 5 losing seasons in those 7 seasons. we endured our worst year in franchise history, i can go on and on.

the fact that this guy just gives his team up like that just shows he prob was never a real fan ever. i dont like to say who is/ or is not a real fan as im not really to judge, but when you just throw your team away like that, it shows you never really had that deep passion in your blood that most die hards do.

Actually I get the feeling it's the opposite. I think he cares a little too much & is contributing to his High-Blood pressure. Which, again, I recommend Cannabis if you don't already smoke it. If you're from Florida, like I am, I know it might be hard to get if you aren't connected with somebody with access. But where there's a will, there's a way, and I can vouch through experience about the positive change in temperament from smoking for a while.

I think Katt Williams says it best when he says "there's a chemical in weed called '**** it'"

Maybe now during the free time that you normally wouldn't have due to watching the Dolphins, you can study up and learn what paragraphs are about.

I was at that game, it was brutal. Think we lost 20-3. But I got to see a Ravens fan get punched out so it wasn't that bad in the end.

But I got to see a Ravens fan get punched out so it wasn't that bad in the end.ya that game was bad and boring for that matter. i remember the ravens received the ball to start the game, fumbled the kickoff, we get the ball deep in their territory, we only get a field goal, and the rest of the game was a disaster.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWhUqo9Aivsi understand, sometimes people care too much, like myself, but its in the blood, i cant help it.

i know this may sound weird and all, but during the long offseason, i actually miss sundays, going through all the emotion we go through with the fins ( even though none of it has been good the past decade).

i dont think anyone is saying he should take it too seriously that it effects his health, but too just dump a team that he claims to love just like that, i dont know, its weird.
