Not sure where to post it so I'll leave it to the moderators to put it in it's place. Not sure what this means for the CNN/SI website but hopefully it sticks around in some form. The more information sources out there the better.

CNNSI stinks. This is no loss. Expect a bidding war to happen over there talent like Peter King and so on. I bet FOX and ESPN try and take as many top guys as they can away from CNNSI once this goes down.

Since ESPN has a magazine of their own, I doubt SI will let them write for an ESPN product. SI will no doubt make their own website and keep it pretty much the same as it is now. They own all the writers for their magazine so they will not be leaving.

This CNN/SI closing is kinda old news. They just never announced a date until recently. And since the announcement King has made apperances on ESPN numerous times. I wouldn't be shocked if King does take a TV job of some sort with ESPN. No proff or I didnt hear anything, just a hunch I have.
