It makes alot of sense. I hope we get more picks though by trading down and nabbing the last of the top tier WRs like the 2001 draft(well we kind traded up for that). That might get us a 2,3,5 if we trade down to the second round. We can probably get Micheal Jenkins there.

Those three picks could help alot.

Overall though for no trading or anything I like that draft.

I agree I think we gain far more if we trade down. But its early. :)

Well I just realized that I accidently deleted two players from my prospects list, CB/FS Matt Ware of UCLA & ILB Richard Seigler of Oregon St, both of which will be day one picks. I'm very disappointed in myself :(

This draft game thing we like to play can be very frustrating at times.
I like to look at everyones mock and read their predictions.
No matter how in depth we go, it takes work.
Thanks SM29.

Thanks, I'm getting ready to start another one where hopefully I don't miss anyone this time.

i could do without cody pickett, i like butler there, be a nice pickup i think... all in all, fun to look mock drafts over, even if they usually mean nothing this time of year.

I didn't see John Standeford for Purdue in there... could be a steal for us in the 4th or 5th round since no one seems to want him. I do not know why...

Woody Hayes National Scholar Athlete Award
Semifinalist for Biletnikoff Award (As a Junior)
Two-time first team Academic All-American and three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection
Big WR 6-4 206
Fast - Said to be possibly fastest play on team... 4.5 I think
Good hands and rarely drops passes.
*Consistent and stays healthy*

Broke the Big 10 Career Records for
Receptions (266)
Receiving Yards (3,788 Yards)
Receiving TDs (27) *Not sure about this one

College stats & accolades doesn't mean you'll be a high draft pick. Standeford is 6'3 190lbs & runs about a 4.65 40(according to PFW). I actually left him off by accident too but for the 6th or 7th round. He's in my updated one.

He put on some weight for his senior year and is up to 406 lbs... pfw is a little late...
wow i thought he really was a lot faster than a 4.65. I still think he would make a good catch... he made a lot of clutch plays.
