Hey guys, just wanted to get everyone's take on QB Russell Wilson for the Wisconsin Badgers. I think he would be a pretty solid QB at the next level and maybe we should get him with a late round pick if we don't trade up to get Luck or RG3. The dude is a very smart kid, and would've been considered for the Heisman if his team didn't lose to Michigan State earlier in the season. His stats (not including Rose Bowl): 73% completion percentage, 31 tds, 3 ints. Also 320 yards rushing and 5 tds.

I'd take him later in the draft, definitely. The kid can make the throws. He's short yeah, but he's not costing a first rounder for the same height questions. With Wilson, it's low risk high reward.

Not sure 5'11" is even accurate, I've heard he is closer to 5"10"

I think he is coming here to Colorado to play for the Rockies.

Why do they have the Ref start the clock standing behind the QB in college ball, instead of starting the clock with the snap of the ball? Maybe it was just because they stopped the clock due to the first down, and not because the ball went out of bounds, but Wilson should have known this.

If Wilson was 6'2" we'd be talking about him and Luck as the top two QBs in this draft.

If he gets drafted it will be as a slash guy ala Randall El from the Steelers. a few years back. Not sure he has that kind of quickness though.

If Seneca Wallace kind find a place in this league as a backup QB I don't see why Russell Wilson can't.

Fear enough. Good example there. Still think he'd see the field more as a slash guy though and would up his draft stock if he also proved he's versitle.

That is exactly my comparison for Wilson. I think he has a chance to be a Seneca Wallace type player if he measures in at 6'0. Any shorter than that and he won't get drafted.
