Let's just say we can't trade up or down, who would you like to see the Fins pick at #9?

the right play is probably supplement the pass rush with a power player at olb...a solb candidate like courtney upshaw...but he lacks ireland ideal height so we'll see...but he'd help us get off the field on 3rd down and help our secondary...

corn fed lineman if we are stuck...best case is for a trade down for multiple corn fed linemen...

No, just giving us the worst pick in my assumption.

I like either Upshaw or Dre Kirkpatrick there. Something to keep in mind is if Tannehill moves up as a result of the combine and his pro day, he could be the choice.

If we can't trade up id like for Miami to trade the pick to the Bengals for their two 1's....then pick up a WR and OLineman...

We're likely to take DeCastro who, as much as I don't want another first round OL, is worth a top ten pick.

alot of people may say it wont matter much between 8th - 9th but its going to make a big diffrence on if we want to trade up or say a player falling to us at 8th im not going to say anybody just yet, because theres going to be alot of players moving up and some moving down .so im going to stay netural.as of now

Awesome, let's draft cornfed lineman to rush the passer and play safety and split the seams like a good TE can. Maybe one of 'em can double as a franchise QB.

You can never have enough linemen, it all starts up front. Let's keep draftin' 'em til we get it right. I think 6 or 7 first rounders should do it but we might want to make it 8 or 9. Let's bring back Sparano and Wannstedt because they totally bought into this philosophy.

If they fell (they probably won't): Justin Blackmon, Morris Claiborne.

I think Upshaw will be around when the Dolphins pick and I'd be happy with that choice.

Please tell me how a RG has more value or impact than a pass rusher or wideout?

You guys have psyched yourself into believing that DeCastro is worthy of a top 10 pick. Its this fake society of best player available addicts. You are draft experts with no common sense or ability to realize how good rosters are built.

You couldn't be more wrong. If DeCastro isn't even the best OL prospect he's not a top 10 worthy player

Since 2001 only 8 guards have been selected in the first round

Never mind pro bowl Decastro better be all pro if he's selected in the top 10

PRO BOWL GUARDS
Marshall Yanda...3rd rounder pick 86
Brian Waters undrafted...6 pro bowls
Logan Mankins....round 1 pick #32

Jahri Evans (http://www.nfl.com/players/jahrievans/profile?id=EVA231866),round 4 pick 108...last 3 pro bowls
Carl Nicks round 5 pick 164...last 2 pro bowls
Davin Joseph (http://www.nfl.com/players/davinjoseph/profile?id=JOS174977) round 1 pick 23...2 pro bowls

top 9 pick for an offensive guard....I DON'T THINK SO

Nicks is a free agent...pay the man

i think he will also...he's not gonna be a guy thats gonna test off the charts or wow people with measurables etc at the combine...not the prototype height speed weight prospect...i think you can comfortably get him at pick #9...maybe even trade down a little bit and still get him...

I agree. I have no clue who Upshaw is since I don't watch college much. All I need to know is that he plays for Alabama and is coached by Nick Saban. Dude knows how to build a defense. I'm sold. We desperately need more pass rushers.

Let's just say we can't trade up or down, who would you like to see the Fins pick at #9?

It all depends on whether we can sign a free agent QB like Matt Flynn, or possibly acquire Peyton Manning. Hopefully we can do this so we don't have to waste a first rounder on some questionable QB's.

If we can get a QB before the draft, then I would focus on a big need...like getting a guy who can rush the QB. Courtney Upshaw of Alabama would be great. We could also use an o-lineman like Jonathan Martin or David DeCastro.....both from Stanford.

If we can't draft a QB like Luck or RG3, then I think we have to stick with Moore for another year.

I'm not saying we should take him, just that he is one of the few interior OL prospects that is worthy of a top ten pick. Dude is on the level of Steve Hutchinson.

If we draft a lineman I will shoot myself. Give me Trent Richardson, DT is mediocre and Bush + Richardson would do wonders for our offense.

There is no way we take Trent Richardson after drafting Daniel Thomas last year along with the year Reggie Bush had. If Trent Richardson is available we may very well entertrain trade offers to move back and aquire more picks though. Probably our best bet.

I wouldnt mind drafting him... Then getting what we can for Thomas in a trade.

What about Luke Kuechly (LB) from Boston College? 8/9 might be a bit high, but I do think he'll go in the first round. We could plug him into the middle if we get Fisher and switch to 4-3. I've not watched him a lot, but I've heard that the dudes a beast. He's always making tackles and is around the ball. He sounds like a taller Zach Thomas.

I really hope we don't get Richardson. I'm against drafting RBs in the first round. It's the easiest position to fill and transition into out of college. As long as the O-line is solid, you can have a productive RB. Plus, Bush had a good year, and we just drafted Thomas.

I'm 99.9% sure Trent Richardson will be either a Brown (who have pretty much said they aren't resigning Hillis) or a Bengal (who have 2 first round picks)in fact, if Richardson is available, I'm trying to trade down with the Bengals for their 2 first rounders and try to get another pick if possible.

If that scenario doesn't present itself? Well, there are still underclassmen that can change everything, and the draft boards aren't even close to being completed.

Adding explosive playmakers like Richardson will always trump drafting for need...we can figure out what to do with DT later.

a playmaking homerun hitter on offense, or do we wait in the later rounds to get ty hilton. hopefully we don't mess it up i think the last we had pick 9 we wound up with the ginn family

At either 8 or 9, I would be content with Quinton Coples to replace JT & give our defence an extra rusher to help Cam Wake. Jonathon Martin would be ok too.
