It is a nurse shark and it is me :D

better a nurse than a tiger or bull shark, but with the water that clear they probably wouldn`t mess with you either.

bet it was thrill for ya! :) it was actually very relaxing being about to just hang out watching sharks rather than having to navigate or drift dive and swim around, except when one of them head straight for me :eek: I usually waited to see if they would veer (sp?) off until they were 2' away and then just kicked once and got above them. Typically, they would turn away and I would reach out and pet them. :cooldude:

more fun than working for sure :lol:

great diving in the keys, particularly late summer when the water is gin clear. If you ever get down this way I`ll hook you up.

I would LOVE to learn to SCUBA dive. Getting into that tight wet suit and all! ;) :lol:

haven't gotten into scuba diving yet, but ever since "jaws" came out, i have this phobia about swimming in the ocean!:D and after all that publicity that florida got last year, i don't think you'll catch me in the atlantic any time soon!:eek:

The water down here is so warm there`s no need for a wetsuit. In fact there`s no need for a bathing suit. :lol:

I had to go to Pompano for a day a few years back and it was awful. But then again I wasn't at the beach and it was really hot out.

In the area of Pompano I was in it was just a bunch of strip malls, it was only for a few hours but it still sucked nevertheless.

Yeah, but none where as bad as the ones in Pompano. I never got up further than Pompano though, I just like South Beach. :)
