Arkansas WR Joe Adams (http://www.draftcountdown.com/ScoutingReports/WR/Joe-Adams.php) also flashed at times and there are rumblings that the speedster might run a 4.2 forty.

Perhaps the most notable piece of information I gathered is that Arkansas WR Joe Adams (http://www.draftcountdown.com/ScoutingReports/WR/Joe-Adams.php) plans to run a 4.25 forty yard dash. However, Adams will likely wait for his Pro Day rather than run at the Scouting Combine in Indy next month.

He'll be what Ted Ginn should have been.

I am absolutely set on Brandon Weeden, but if that doesn't happen I could easily live with this for rounds 1-3:

1. David DeCastro

2. Coby Fleener

3. Joe Adams

Questions will linger- how good is Lydon Murtha? How much does Vernon Carey have left in the tank? Is John Jerry for real or just a tease? Can Charles Clay be the the answer at 2nd TE, provide that threat, be our Aaron Hernandez? If not, maybe we look at Orson Charles. I'd still like to trade down, pick up an extera 2nd say from Cincinnati with that Raiders pick (I think #17), then get:

1. DeCastro
2. Weeden
3. Fleener
4. Adams

Maybe you look at Cordy Glenn in the 1st after a trade down, maybe Courtney Upshaw. I'll maintain until the the end that Weeden is THAT good, and the focus has to be getting to him ahead of Cleveland and specifically Washington in the 2nd round. I'd take Weeden over Tanehill personally- my big hope is that Shanahan loves Tannehill, my fear is that he loves Weeden. My guess is that whichever teams love Weeden will keep their pie holes shut- year in and year out the Dolphins blow smoke about who they like- chances are if they bring in a player multiple times to check him out, they really covet someone else- case in point Mallett v. Ponder. My guess is that Shanahan will be all over Weeden in the 2nd round- that's my fear.

he is very good but back tracking in the nfl after catching a punt will get you benched quick as teams engage on the returner much faster as well as tackle much better if you watch Hester rarely does he back pedal after catching a punt he keeps his momentum moving forward

I'm not ready to give up on Clyde Gates. So no go for me on Joe Adams.

We need a pass rusher . . . I would prefer Upshaw in round 1, but drafting a situational guy like Bruce Irvin as a pass rush specialist wouldn't be terrible while keeping Misi on the strongside. Would allow us to draft a Decastro which I know some teams are going to fall in love with his ability on the move and justify taking him in the top 10 (though I'd still take the pass rusher).

Fleener in the first 10 picks of round 2? I'm good on that also. Too rich for my blood. Love the Weeden pick in round 2 . . . not sure if he lasts that long though, I'm hopeful.

But can he catch the ball? I am sure Usain Bolt could run a 4.1 40-yard-dash but that doesn't mean you want him as a wide receiver.

Better learn how to hang on to the damned ball...and not cough it up....like he did in the Senior Bowl

He's having a great game save for the fumble.

Yea he is, but if I'm going to be honest, the missed tackles on him have been ridiculous. That being said you could always use a player like Joe Adams, even with a Clyde Gates on the team but its further down on the list for me.

Wish we had a chance to see him on returns more this game.

Adding Joe Adams would not mean giving up on Gates. It would be adding another speedster to the team. A speedster with playmaking and return capabilities.
If we could run route combinations with either Marshall, Gates and/or Adams, it could open the passing game the way the Giants do at times with their trio of receivers.
