Crap. Somebody shoot that rat.

At 7:25 a.m. this morning, amidst mostly cloudy skies, and temperatures in the low 30s, Groundhog Phil saw his shadow in the little town of Punxsutawney, Pa.

According to folklore, Phil’s sighting of his own shadow means there will be 6 more weeks of winter. Had Phil not seen his shadow, it would have meant “there will be an early spring.” ...

lol at these things. i cant believe their are people out their who put stock in these groundhogs (not reffering to u, lol).

we have not even had a winter this year, so if their are 6 more weeks of ''winter'' then thats fine this year. this ''winter'' has felt like spring

It's been mild here this whole winter. And I, for one, am enjoying the hell out of it.

It's only snowed here like twice. Which for WV is extremely uncommon.

Beautiful weather today in SoFL, as a matter of fact I just noticed that the a/c kicked on (so let it snow, let it snow, let it snow) :idk:

It's been warm as hell all over the lower 48. I don't think that little groundhog know what he's talking about. I know here in California it was about 90 degrees just a few weeks ago. It's been a dry, warm, windy winter here. It's maybe rained once or twice here since the middle of December.

Wasn't it about 60 degrees in Indianapolis a few days ago? 50 in Chicago??? Where the hell is winter??? I guess we shouldn't complain...in Alaska they're freezing in the -40s during the day! :err:

Hah....Gobbler's knob! :chuckle:

Topped out at 75 degrees in Central Texas today. Cold front rolls in over the next few and we'll be at a high of mid to upper 50's.

I'm good with it.

It's been really mild here. Hit 60 degrees yesterday, which was strange.

It's been beautiful here in AZ all winter. Bring on another six weeks baby.

It's been the mildest winter here that I can remember.

I actually like winter weather, so this is a disappointment.
