Can't say enough about how true that is. Dez looked huge from a WR standpoint two years back... Justin looks HUGE! lol

I don't see how you could pass on him if he fell that far. If we passed on him to reach for an OT...dear god...

That being said, I don't see him falling too far.

I think so cause the Panthers are ahead of us

Get Blackmon and sign either Peyton or Flynn and **** could turn around real quick. Hell I could see Matt Moore having a big year if we add a guy like Blackmon. Honestly, I'm waiting to hear Marshall gets traded. I'm not for it by any means but I could see it happening. Maybe with Chicago or even in a trade up for RG3.

That'd be sick, but I have a hard time believing the Panthers or Jaguars would pass on him.

If he falls THAT far...which no way will happen...there will be a TON of teams willing to trade up...Would be a interesting situation, but I dont know how you could pass on him at that point. It would have to be an overcompensation in draft picks to trade the pick.

There are 100's of mock drafts....really who is to say...

not sure it would be smart to add another really high paid receiver to the team but it would be hard to pass on him if he fell that far. I think we would be better served with getting a cheaper speedy receiver via free agency and use that pick on a different position.......but passing on him would be brutal though

who the hell knows maybe kendal wright or Flloyd will tear it up at the combine and leapfrog him. So much time to decide.

that or he gets a drug charge or something.

I think a safety is our biggest need, but if Blackmon falls to us, you can't pass that up.

Yeah if Blackmon falls, you absolutely have to take him. He's the next Larry Fitzgerald.

There's a decent chance Blackmon runs a subpar 40 time which could cause Blackmon to fall farther than people expect. Whether or not he makes it to the 8th pick remains to be seen but it wouldn't shock me. To the guy who said we d be investing too much in the WR spot and we could just get a FA WR with speed I have to disagree. There's no way you're going to bring in an impact WR via free agency who is going to cost less than Blackmon would at the 8 spot. Rookies no longer make that much and to get a WR who could produce what Blackmon could potentially produce is going to cost a hell of a lot more money.

maybe he will not be CJ but he is by far the best WR in the draft, at #8/9 it will be a steal

I would love it if they didn't get manning or flynn, moore can get the ball to him.

But look at Greenbay receivers, they are average in talent, but the QB, the style of offense are the factors that turn mediocre receivers into pro bowlers. I would like to have blackmon also, but let's say megatron was on the cleveland browns would he still be as successful? I think not.

Take the best player available, that is all Ireland has to do. We are not that good where we can not use a player at all positions

Watch us draft Reiff with our 1st pick. We do need a Right Tackle so Reiff is it.

Your opinion of the GB receivers is simply false. There is nothing mediocre about that receiving corp. GB has very good receivers. Jennings is top 5. Nelson is very good. Driver has been one of the most consistent WRs in the league over the past decade. Finley is a top 10 TE receiving threat. Rodgers has very good weapons over there. And Megatron is Megatron. No matter who is putting the ball in the air, he is going to get it.

This would absolutely sicken me. Trade away the best WR we've had since McDuffie for a QB whose skills may or may not (debatable) transition to the next level? Leaving said QB only mediocre targets to work with as a rookie? No thanks. I'd rather have Blackmon, Marshall and Moore if given the choice.

I would love to see it happen as Blackmon is a beast, and probably the next Megatron (Calvin Johnson). I just think if he drops past the 5th pick somebody will trade up to get him, and probably not us.
