Four of the biggest draftniks in the business join Wes Bunting to breakdown South Carolina wide out Alshon Jeffery.

This might be a bit of hyperbole, but I wouldn't want to risk a premium draft pick on another potential Patrick Turner- big, strong WR who has difficulty separating from DBs. i'd rather see how Roberto Wallace pans out than spend a high pick on Jeffries. Give me Joe Adams in the 3rd rd and I'll be happy. Put him in the slot, groom Clyde gates out wide and find roles for Hartline and Bess, who both have their good qualities, but deficiencies as well. We need the Joe Adams and Coby Fleeners of the draft, not the Alshon Jeffries imo.

Can the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine get here soon enough? For weeks speculation and unconfirmed rumors have swirled about Alshon Jeffery’s figure and 40 time.
The most solid tidbit of information pre-Combine appears to be fired by Scout.com. The information has come with a training partner of Jeffery’s in Florida, Bethune-Cookman outside linebacker-defensive end Ryan Davis. Davis said “Alshon’s in good shape.” ”He’s looking very good out there. He’s going to turn a lot of heads. He’s a big receiver, but he’s not fat. I laugh when I see that on TV. He’s been smirking. I bet he runs a 4.5. He’s way down in his weight. He’s between 217 and 220 right now.”
This would appear to be the first legitimate confirmation on Jeffery’s pre-Combine status. Jeffery will be poked and prodded by scouts after a lackluster junior season in which major concerns regarding conditioning and separation have claimed the day for the South Carolina receiver.
Rumors of Jeffery carrying 235 pounds on his 6-foot-4 frame abounded but were mild in comparison to a rumored 4.88 40 yard dash at some point between the bowl game and last week. These were quickly debunked by multiple sources.

I hope we don't draft this guy. Only because most can't accurately spell his last name correctly on this forum. :)

I know TedSlimm has watched this guy a whole heck of a lot more than I have but to me he doesn't seem like a good fit in the WCO and he reminds me too much of Mike Williams from Southern Cal. I would rather pass on him, JMO.

You have to worry about this guy's weight....unless he wants to maybe become a Tight End?, he is looking a liittle "thick."
