who impressed you the most day 1 of the combine? i think for me it probly has to be allen te out of clemson. which isnt a surprise but he looks the part being the best all around te in this years draft. big guy, fast, and soft hands.

Dude ran a slow 40 from what I heard and looked sluggish in the drills.

Kalil and DeCastro look like men amongst boys out there. Just look solid.

Also, Olson Charles TE out of Georgia looked great. Might turn out to be better than Fleener and Allen

None of the tight ends were overwhelming. None of them. Id say cordy glenn was a guy who took me by surprise. Dude can move for 345the lbs. Gettis from iowa was testing really well. Didnt see that coming at all. Decastro is a guy i wouldnt mind seeing in a phins uni.

Yeah man, DeCastro on the drills, technique was flawless.

DeCastro didn't surprise me at all. He's just as i expected...technically sound, great feet, strong as an ox....just as he has been all year. A future Pro Bowler. I would not be disappointed if he is our choice at #8.

Unlike an earlier poster, i was not impressed with Orson Charles. I didn't like the fact that he didn't run the 40 and he didn't look smooth running in any of his routes (a little stiff). I really wanted to see Fleener b/c the TEs were average at best (his bench strength was much more than i expected). Allen is rocked up and showed good hands, but his 40 was much slower than i expected. Egnew looks smooth catching but didn't run full speed in any of his drills and isn't real thick and has never blocked anything. Ladarius Green is also smooth but very skinny. The Dunsmore kid from NW definitely had the best hands and ran the best routes. I also like Rodriguez. But both those kids are small.

I continue to be impressed with Phillip Blake. He needs a little more strength in the gym but that can be fixed. I jumped on his bandwagon after seeing him at the senior bowl practices (and went back and watched some tape). I liked what i saw from Massie. He's a big guy with long arms and moves very well. I also liked what i saw from Brandon Mosely and Desmond Wynn.

Allen plays faster than that 40 time.

I still like Ladarius Green for a TE.

Cordy glenn was very impressive for a man his size.Mosely from Auburn looked very good aswell.J Martin looked very well although he was very limited in what he did but his technique and feet were perfect..We will have to wait for Stanfords Pro day.

Ladarius Green looked like Hernandez of the Pats in all phases for the TE's.TE class is not very good.

Tommy Streeter is 6'5, 219, with a 4.34 in the 40.

Someone's gonna reach for this kid

Official time was 4.40 but someone will reach for him. I thought he looked very sloppy in the drills with his route running, he also dropped a few balls. I thought Stephen Hill of GT looked better all around and had a faster 40 time. Wouldn't take either before the 3rd though.

as far as day 1 guys Tom Compton OL from South Dakota was impressive, Cordy Glenn was impressive especially when you consider his 345 lbs., DeCastro obviously and Kahlil. Reiff didn't look that good to me, feet weren't LT feet IMO.

I didn't catch all the TEs I'll have to go back and look at them but I did catch Dwayne Allen and he was a disappointment.
