Move down for Floyd to acquire more picks, sounds good :)

How do they have 9 picks? They acquired a 3rd rounder from the Bears this year and a 3rd rounder next year. They should have 8 picks...

How did we get 9 picks
We had 7 then the Brandon trade added another this draft.....that's 8

all i know is that if tanneyhill goes at 4, 5, 6, or 7, that will leave someone unexpected for us at 8. think about it: 3 QB's go in the first 8 picks (luck, RGIII, tanneyhill), that means that one of the top-5 non-QB's in the draft will be there for us at 8 (kalil, blackmon, claiborne, richardson, ingram for example). if there is nobody we have a conviction on, trade back if you get a good offer from someone looking to move up.

This is a very deep draft and that might make good sense.

Ok 8. So i still say move down and pick up some more.

Fleener in round one?? easy there killer. TE is not our most pressing need

Knowing Jeff Ireland a trade down is very likely.

Eight picks could lead to some wheeling and dealing up or down.

richardson may fall to us at 8. I might take him if that happens.

I say trade up for Blackmon.

I think they will probably stay put at #8, a lot good talent in the top 10. Though if they trade the pick, I would rather trade back than up.

We could get 9 if we get any compensatory picks. We won't know the full draft order until the compensatory picks are assigned.

Depending on who falls to us at #8 I would be cool with trading back and picking up an extra 2nd round pick.

Then use the two 3rd rounds picks we have and slide up into round 2....

At this point get Ingram and dont trade down.

4 picks in the top 60 sounds sexy to me. We can get a pass rusher, 2 WRs, and a top TE. I'm salivating.

I like the sound of that!

In the Packer offense the TE is crucial. TE is a need and Fleener is a good one.

Ireland might set an all time draft record with 8 offensive lineman drafted.

If we are on the clock and richardson is still on the board, ireland's phone WILL be ringing. You can bank on that.

TE is not a need. They are very interested in playing with Charles Clay

Cincy would jump all over that especially with their two 1st round picks they could afford to jump up. Move us to 17.

screw trading back...thats how you end up with watered down talent...take the blue chip potential difference making talent that falls into your lap with the pick...and if cleveland does take tannehill at #4 there's one more top bpa that will be there when you're on the clock...

we always talk about how this team or that team has this rediculous talent player etc how bout we get one for a change in the draft...bpa playmaker...

i don't think thats happening...heavy talk that tampa at #5 is zeroing in on him...if he gets to the jax pick someone could come up for him also...

imo i was just sitting here reading all the other posts and said the same thing move bk and not get half the player we would get if we had stayed at 8 ? ok now after we get in the 2nd or 3rd round then if we want to move down a little then that would be ok imo but not in the 1st round at 8 , we need that pick for a blue chip guy in the worst way.

I would say if blackmon is sitting there at 6 or 7 we make a trade for him. We have no viable receivers now other than davone bess and lets be honest, he isnt a go to guy. Brian Hartline has continued to disappoint since he joined the team.

we've got 4 picks in the top 3 rounds...we should be able to make hay staying where we are and getting solid value...but in the top 10 i want elite talent...and if you trade back you just give that to someone else

i' be inclined to use #8 and then at pick #40 as we are getting into early round 2 if something is falling into your lap use one of those 3rd rounders to go up and get it...or just sit still and see what comes to you...i know this...if kendall wright gets into round 2 i'd be about going to get me some of that action

How bout if Miami does trade down we get a freakin #1 for next year out of it? How do teams like the Patsies and such always seem to get a #1 for their trades? I say have 2 #1's for next year just in case we need a Barkley.

I remember when I didn't take math class in high school. Never mind I don't remember that.
