Brockers IMO would be better than Coples @ 8.

Brockers @ 8 wouldn't be bad at all.

Not a bad player, but was overrated in the early part of the draft process. Bad workouts have helped people take a second look at his tape and readjust his rankings accordingly.

In my opinion, he's more of a player that should be taken in the teens with a lookout for the bust factor. Poe and Cox are definitively superior prospects to my eyes.

If we're looking DT the Poe is the right call. Dude played like a brute last season and his combine was sick.

we resigned solia...i don't see dt in play at #8 at all...smokescreen...

Never underestimate the power of a safe pick.

Never underestimate the power of a safe pick.

there's nothing safe about brockers...just like there's nothing safe about poe...only safe top 15 dt pick imo is fletcher cox...but we already have solia starks odrick merling and mcdaniel in house...i just don't see it in play...had we lost solia then i could see it as possible...

imo if we go the dt route its more in the 2nd round and i think a kendall reyes who could be viewed as a viable replacement for starks in 2013 makes sense...similar players imo...strong hands and good initial quickness with reyes

but i'm a reyes is a top 5 dt guy

Brockers is an intriguing visit.

Ireland loves his DTs.

DT is probably the last position we need to address in the Top 10. I like the player, but we simply don't need him AT ALL. The pick HAS to be Coples, Tannehill or Blackmon.

justin blackmons clean off the field ran fast has excellent looking tape and came in at 215 lbs at his pro day off a 209 weigh in at the combine so he didn't even cut weight to run fast...pretty much zero chance he gets to #8...zero chance

not getting past st louis...if he even gets there

Preparing for all possibilities, trade down scenario etc. Can't see Miami taking Brockers at #8.
