Pick Tannehill at #8 and then trade back into round 1 (2012 3rd, 2013 1st) with Dallas at #14 and grab Kuechly (Man Crush, I want this guy on the phins so ****ing bad, Philly will take him 100% at 15). Anyone think that is a good scenario?

If you want Kuechly and a QB you take Weeden in the second round.Your not getting Tannehill and Kuechley in the first unless you trade back into the top 15.

Never mind at 15, Eagles will be looking to trade up for Kuechly.

I say trade back with the Eagles to 15 and get a extra second and third.

I think there is a good chance that the Bills take him at the 10 spot.

I was gonna say, your almost better off taking Kuechly at 8 and trading back up before Cleveland's second pick for Tannehill.

I'm not a fan of giving up next year's first rounder, especially not for a MLB. That position is too easy to fill and the QB class is strong again next year if we see Barkley/Jones/Bray/Wilson/Murray come out . . . I'd like to keep my options open. I'd rather take Tannehill at 8 and move on with my draft.

Teams that build through the draft dont trade future 1st round picks...

Kuechly and Weeden, and we dont even have to move out of our current spots.

That's just wrong....teasing us with fantasies like that.

Good grief! The Eagles traded for Demeco Ryans! They are no longer in the market for a MLB, and Seattle is very likely going to re-sign David Hawthorne. He has been asking for too much money but the market for his services has disappeared. He will sign any day.

Most boards have Kuechly sliding into the twenties.

I would not be opposed to trading back into the mid-teens and picking up an extra pick...pick up Kuechly with that 1st rounder, Weeden with the 2nd, and having possibly 3 3rd round picks in order to augment our offensive side with a few WRs and a TE...talk about epic WINNING :woot:

I don't see us trading UP but I could see us trading down if Tannehill is gone when we pick at #8.

no way are we going to trade our 1st next year plus a 3rd to get a MLB....he's good but we're keeping our picks and try to get more instead of giving them away. Wanny's been gone for a long time.

Why would Philly take Kuechly after just trading for DeMeco Ryans?

I had the Eagles taking him in my first mock back in December and boy did I hear alot of sh@t for that

Knowing what you know now about Pat Willis and Urlacher, would you not make this trade? Cuz this guy will be THAT good at MLB.

If you're gonna do that, you grab Kuechly first, trade up for Fleener, and take Osweiler in the 3rd.

Kuechly and Weeden, and we dont even have to move out of our current spots. That's a nice scenario, but I don't know if Weeden fits the offense Joe Philibin will be running as well as either Tannehill or Cousins appear to.

Why does everybody want us taking Kuechly? That isnt even a position of need, we already have an elite ILB in Dansby and a good 2nd ILB in Burnett. If you want defense go with a pass rusher that we NEED or a Safety that we NEED.

I agree kuechly is a stud and I would love to have him but not with the 8th pick. We have to go DE, WR, or QB. DB or S would be in play but there aren't any good enough for that pick this year. Please say NO to OL at number 8!!!

You do realize that we are moving to a 4-3 D and that Dansby and Burnett would be OLB in a 4-3. It is actually what Dansby played in AZ and where he made his name in the NFL. Misi would be our ILB in the 4-3.

Dansby can slide inside in a 4-3, he's played there before and had success. You can find MLB's later in the draft. Plus we will throw out alot of looks on defense. Luke at 8 doesn't scream "no brainer" to me . . . The Fins need to grow a sack and stop playing it safe with these early picks.

Misi would be our ILB in the 4-3. We're going to be a hybrid defense not strictly 4-3. Misi would play the inside in our 4-3 looks, so why would we waste a first round pick on a linebacker who we dont need.

Misi will probably be cut if the arrest holds any water.

I could easily see us trading back IF Tannyhill is there at 8...and he will be..

No, no he won't.

He should be a pretty solid MLB, but cmon, he's not even close to that class of MLB.

this idea has some merit.. i hadn't considered it much. I think keuchly is a sure thing. I'm not against trading next years 1st, if we do well, it should be a pick in the 20's and I could live without that pick, considering if we didn't have it, we had success the previous year.
