Congratulations, Mega Millions winners! You've just won the biggest lottery in history. Move over, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. Not so fast, Richie Rich. For you three winners -- one in Illinois, one in Maryland and one in Kansas -- there's no doubt that you're now each a member of the 1%. A life of comfort and leisure awaits, and managed wisely, it just might await your friends and family for generations to come. But the money will be sure to provide a lifetime of happiness, right? Sorry, not so much."After they win the jackpot, most of (the winners) self-destruct, and they end up much more unhappy than they were before," said Dr. Tom Manheim, who offers financial therapy in Solana Beach, Calif. http://www.freep.com/article/20120402/NEWS07/204020350/Even-winning-Mega-Millions-can-t-make-all-dreams-come-true?odyssey=mod|mostview

Winning millions of dollars doesn't make them any smarter with their money. One of the more intelligent winners I've seen was a 21 year old in Arizona that bought a modest 3 bedroom house, a $25k car, a 4-wheeler, paid off his debts, then invested every remaining dime and continued going to school.

Sadly, that's the kind of **** that lasts for years with multiple trash spin-offs. Idiocracy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/) here we come.

That's the same with me, man. Were I to win, which is unlikely because I rarely buy a ticket, I might buy a house (not a mansion by any stretch of the imagination) and a new car. Maybe a condo somewhere to get away to. The way I see it is that I could buy anything I ever wanted with about $200,000 and set up a tax free foundation or invest with the rest of it.

Outside of the house, obviously.
