B.J. Cunningham is our 6th rounder. Wide Reciever, Michigan St. Thoughts?

hmmmmm not good value for me, could have got him in the 7th. would have preferred McNut or Streeter.

Extremely productive. 79 receptions, 1309 yards, 12 TDs. He's got good quickness but not fast.

Good pick. I liked him better than McNutt or Streeter. I thought he'd go earlier.

Love the pick. Ireland and Philbin have done a great job with this draft.

Just had a look at a few clips...

Bit of a Hartline 2.0?

No yards after catch ability or is that unfair of me?

There isn't a lot of YAC but he's a lot better catching the ball in traffic than Hartline. Much better at high pointing the ball.

Looks more like a 4.5 guy than a 4.59 guy.

I trust Ireland/Philbin on this. Philbin knows what he wants. I hope he wants Mcnutt too should he last that long.

Perfect fit...high productivity and since no one guy will be targeted it will simply be whoever is open in our new system this guy fits right in...Hartline Bess and Cunningham all have great hands and offer different places of specialty add Clay and Egnew and Miller and Bush we have alot of weapons while only Miller Egnew and Bush would be considered potentially "dynamic" first down and redzone catches are important too and i think that Cunningham can become that guy.

never seen the kid play and not that it means anything but his combine numbers blow.
vertical jump just 31.5 lowest score was 30.add a wimpy bench press and slow 3 cone.

Catches the ball at its highest point from what I can tell

runs pretty good routes but looks like a possession/unerneath routes guy at the next level...lacks burst...i liked him as a decent 5th round or so guy til i saw how little burst he had at the combine...just kinda meh

that said he can probably make this wr core as it stands ha ha

what a huge get...this guy has hands like glue...this is a guy whos measureables are very outweighed by his production...he came into msu behind several big time wr recruits and had the offense run through him...he was the best receiver in the big ten and will be a big part of this team's passing game...i great pick up!
