Just because it was in his system doesn't mean he was necessarily smoking while he was shot. Depending on how much you smoke it could stay with you anywhere from a couple hours for an infrequent user, or with more continuous users for 2-3 weeks.

The finding really has very little to do with the case.

Disagree unless the defense team are idiots. The defense will use this to show Trayon was under the inflence and with experts showing how side effects such as how MJ can cause extreme paronia in the arguement of who started the fight. And use to back Zimmermans credibility as he said the kid looks like he's on something.

Very true. Though I personally wouldn't buy into it many in the public will especially jurors.

Add in the other autopsy stuff...Trayon had abrasions on his knuckles and the shot was 1" to 18" away. All it takes is one to reasonably doubt this was murder.

Unless the State has the definitive ace in the hole I just don't see a 2nd degree murder conviction. Every bit of new evidence coming out keeps helping the defense.
