The administration is paying theirs bills. Nothing more.

This type of scandal and waste isn't even shocking anymore.

Isn't it a sad state of affairs when the administration wastes another half billion dollars and that's just par for the course anymore.

It's always a good feeling when money goes toward something worthy, and not wars or putting people in jail.

So ACORN's back as the new boogeyman? The GOP must have run out of "Obummer's a Kenyan-Marxist-Commie Rat Bastard-Anti American-Kitten killer"-type comments and the birther trough must be dry, so back to an old Boogeyfriend with a fairly same old name.

It sucks to say and it's a hard reality. But if you can't afford the house you live in. Then maybe you shouldn't be living there.

IMHO, it is not about bailing out homeowners in his home state of Illinois(more bail outs - bad idea), it is a down payment to pay for thousands of activists for their work leading up to the election. It is all a scam and a misappropriation of funds.

Well let's face it, the voter that falls for that nonsense is probably brain dead anyway and can't remember anything that happened over two years in the past.

Yeah, won't it be nice when that actually ever happens......which will probably be the same time that leopard-spotted unicorns fly out of Obama's a$$

Yep, nothing to see here. Just another half a billion dolllar taxpayer funded slush fund. I am sure this will work. Because the recent 25 billion dollar shake down they just got from the banking industry for mortgage relief has helped homeowners how? Oh, that's right - it didn't. But for the last 3 1/2 years the Admistration has helped homeowners, how has that worked. Just as good as all his other economic programs.

thats like me saying that spending money on defense is a good thing because if helps feed soldiers and their familes because it gives them a job. what about those nice people at the bomb factorys, are you telling me you want them out of work? while i know you arent 100% serious about your above post (it is mainly used for shock value). id like to know if you really feel like that money wont be wasted in bureaucracy and red tape? which is the underlying problem with big government, no matter which party you "support".

I don't see the correlation between money for helping poor people and the military, unless you think more Illinois people are invading someone. And I don't think a socialist wanting to help people is shock value at all.

thats one of the problems with your socialist thinking. you cant help everyone. either cut money for defense, which whether you like it or not helps families by giving them a living. or help poor people in inner cities.

you didnt answer my question. do you really feel like the majority of the $445 will go to help poor people? or do you believe it will be lost in the neverending red tape?

I have no problems with cutting military budgets. It has been a recurring theme of mine. I have no opinion on red tape or Scotch tape or duct tape. Hopefully the amount of waste and inefficiency will be minimal.

The United States government has been getting far less corrupt over the last few decades. Citizens United changes that, but the trend is still the same.

Socialism has never been about providing for everyone. It is the opposite in many ways.

Does corruption really surprise you? Personally, I've not been shocked since Cheney and his marionnete falsified information to start a war on behest of his Saudi Masters and to enrichen Halliburton, permitted them to fraudulently gouge the taxpayers and then made ensure they merely received a slap on the wrist to continue to compete on many non-bid contracts. Ca-ching, Ca-ching, Ca-ching.

That slimy draft dodging, drunk driving neocon POS should have been charged with treason and hung by his scaly neck!

Spending 100s of Millions overseas in quagmires = "spreading freedom"

Spending 100s of Millions domestically = "socialist Communist Marxism"
