20$ says this increases public swearing..... people don't understand human nature...

It would also decriminalize certain types of disorderly conduct, public drinking and marijuana use, and dumping snow on a roadway.
Nvm it kicks ass

Ha! I wonder if they have a list of *** words you can and can't say in public. Can I press charges against preachers in the street who say "jesus?" Also, I am really offended by *** word "the." I would like to press charges against anybody who uses that abomination of a word.

I also think those that speak in asterisks should be fined. It's offensive.

Some people and their virgin ears. Sheesh. Now if it was within 100 feet of a school, nursery or park where impressionable children congregate, there may be, and still may not be some justification, but a general ban, gimme a break!
Reminds me of my first job ever - at least professional one that I had my degrees in, in marketing management. The sales rep asked me to speak to, smooth over a small PITA retail customer (a small part of a large association we sold to nationally) located up in Bum**** NH, who was typically griping, this time about not getting his shipment on time - from a designated carrier he insisted that our logistics people had to call in specifically. Anyway I got frustrated with him and said something to the effect: "Jack, I can't help it that your preferred transporter is a dip$hit company. He got all offended and called my boss, the Marketing Director, who was a sarcastic, wry bastid (and someone who'd make you stand there feeling stupid in front of him until you figured the answers out). Anyway, he motioned me into the office to listen and said "Jack, like you I'm outraged, there's no place for obscenity here..it's unforgivable! So what I'm gonna do it fire Mike's fu@kin' ass."
