Snoop is leaving rapping behind (at least for this next album), and is going to Jamaica to make an entire Reggae album that will be called "Reincarnated".

VICE Films, in partnership with Snoopadelic Films, presents REINCARNATED. The documentary follows Snoop Dogg as he journeys to Jamaica to record an album with Diplo. While there, Snoop finds himself embraced by the Jamaican people, is positively impacted by Rastafarian culture, and becomes reincarnated as Snoop Lion.

I don't think Snoop knows what that word means. How can you be reincarnated as someone who was alive at the same time as you?

Snoop is kind of a joke now, no? I stopped listening to rap around the turn of 2000. I stopped listening to most music though post 00', especially the bands that are out today. Good god. . .

I'm not so sure he would work well with Reggae..

This is one of the tracks I believe, so judge for yourself.

It's certainly not Bob Marley or Peter Tosh, but it's not horrible. I'll give him props on his first crack at it.

It's not bad, but I still couldn't help thinking about this for some reason.
