There's something wrong with the world today.
The light bulbs getting dim.
There's meltdown in the sky.
We're seeing things in a different way,
And GOD knows it aint his.
It sure aint no surprise.....We're livin' on the edge.(Aerosmith- Living on the edge)

Sorry to be a bummer...but this just depresses me. The times we are living in?!? How did we(or is it just our kids???) get so de-sensitized to where nothing shocks us or surprises us anymore. I almost wish that I lived in the 50s with Ward Cleaver. :-(

I agree with you completely 54.
It is a damn shame the way the world has become.

It's basically because so much had happened in the 20th century that affected the whole world, and there's not much, after the last hundred years of destroying the planet, that anybody could do to surprise me.

I guess this bothers me even more because it happened so close to where I live...20 miles away. That is when it really hits home that it can happen to you or someone you know...
