Stupid question, stupid people. I wonder how many people told him to go "do" himself when he asked that question.

Banning or limiting corporate profits? Laughable.

I am happy if corporations pay the right tax percentage, loopholes are closed, tax breaks are cut off to those who don't need it, close offshore tax shelters etc.

This country is the ONLY country in the world where you pay a lesser tax rate the more money you make and the burden of social services is almost entirely put on the back of the middle class. Where are the jobs you "job creators" who increased their wealth from what is was before 2008?

Now let's go around the RNC the next time and ask the questions
"who wants slavery back"
"who wants to hang the black man in the presidential office"
"who wants no government"

Of course we will cut out the reasonable people who tell me to "do" myself.

Stereotype much?

Yeah.
That video is exactly that: a selection of a few opinions in an attempt to stereotyping democrats.. In this case "Democrats are left, anti-corporation, socialists". Oh yeah...and stupid.

I do believe that Jon Stewart and the like speak of "the Republican party has been hijacked by nuts" assuring that not all Republicans are meant to be nuts. They also are people specific. And Jon Stewart is a comedian after all.

They show a lack of understanding of economics, but there people aren't terribly important. Their economic failures aren't as worrisome as Mitt Romney's plan to explode the deficit, though.

To respond to your earlier comment phins_4_ever... Yes democrats lean left politically (conservatives lean right). That's not a stereotype so much as a statement of fact. As for being anti-corporate... Democrats are selective in which corporations they choose to embrace and hate, as we all do. However, one thing that unites progressives is that government should play a bigger role in all of our lives, and consequently decreasing the influence of the private sector to succeed. Lastly, socialists... if the shoe fits. Tell me how not wanting bigger government and more control over the private sector ie. all the bailouts of the last 4 years or having government agencies or unions dictate business decisions etc. as not socialist?

And now for something completely different... oh wait... not so much.
