A serial chief executive, the Republican presidential nominee is steeped in management theory and eschews gut instincts. He is not so much a micromanager as a microprocessor, wading deeply into the raw data usually left to junior aides.

It is a shame how awful Romney has to be for his base. He is one of the brightest nominees they have had in decades.

One of my two biggest issues with Romney. Ultimately not entirely his fault since had he stayed a centrist he wouldn't have sniffed the general election. They would have elected? I can only assume Newt Gingrich or Santorum.

The other is that he is an unabashed corporate shill even more so than Obama which is hard to do. At least Obama pretends to fight to the little guy.
