I sold my mobo, vid card, and processor and replaced them. I also added a few features. I am up to a gig and a half of ddr 3500, a 64 bit amd 3200+, the asus kt800 mother board, a 20 gig maxtor 7200 rpm with an 8mb buffer as my os drive, 2 80 gig western digital 7200 8mb raid drives, a 200gb slave on ide, and a 160 on ata, an ati all in wonder vid card 9800 pro, cdrw-dvd rom, and a dvdrw.

I just moved down to naples and built this machine in the past week, and spent to much time playing texas hold em and drinking to read up on the 64 bit chip. The bios are so differint. Does anyone know how to overclock this thing? If not i guess I will have to scan the web later this week.

I have to ask, how come you stuck with IDE for the boot drive?? Why not a Raptor or perhaps SCSI?? Seems like you're bottlenecking the system.

Also, have you had a chance to mess with Windows XP-64??

I didn't want to over spend for a 10rpm. The other answer is I like haveing my Os an a really small fast drive. The bigger the drive the less time it takes to boot.

I downloaded XP 64 the other day for free from their website, but it isn't bootable. I tried everything. I am going to have get one sent to me.
