This is not a joke according to the Big O...

Negotiations have begun with MJ and the Heat. Is anyone else here listening to the show?

A story ran in Chicago the other day about this rumor.

Rumor was MJ would buy the Heat and move them to Las Vegas.

(Don't be mad at me, Im just the messenger). That was the rumor in the Chicago newspapers earlier this week.

Are these rumors about playing or about ownership of Heat?

They're about playing...if you can believe that. My Bullsh*it meter is pretty high on this one. http://fanzonecentral.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7&sid=abf061a62afe933cdc6cc4f3561bc3d3

I have no problem with him being a co-owner but coming to play SF?? I don't think so. I love Mike but he's 41 years old... it's time to hang it up for good.

It is most likely rumors, but If this happened.... Think of Jordan (although 41) with a Shaq as his center. :)

Nevermind that. Shaq, Jordan, Wade all playing on the same team? I don't care if MJ was 60, that is a sight to see! :jawdrop:

It's not about Jordan being a player, but an owner.

They said a Pro Sports team is going to end up in Vegas one of these days, and the NBA is usually ahead of the curve when it comes to going to new markets. David Stern wants a team in Las Vegas. Jordan loves Las Vegas. So it all makes sense. And really the ONLY team out there which is sorta up for sale is the Heat. And now with Shaq on the Heat it is an attractive team to people looking to buy.

That was the nuts and bolts of the story.
