Lol...ok, so does Mrs Kerry get a time out for saying "shove it"?

I have three kids (8, 13, 15), and none of them would ever consider using the term "Time Out"!

Must be a product of 60's/70's parents. My nephew is a product of a 60's parent(my older sister), and I swear the kid is either going to cure cancer or become a serial killer(heck, maybe both). He's never been spanked, I'm not even sure if he's been yelled at. When he's swinging a cat around the room by it's tail, my sister will try to discuss his "feelings". Very intelligent kid, but he's been so coddled that he's also a huge puss.

My kids have had thier butts busted - numerous times!

My father and mother used the following forms of discipline for my brother, sister and myself: "The Five of Clubs", "The Foot Lecture", and my all time favorite "Stop crying or I will give you something to cry about".

My children use terms such as Yes Sir/No Sir, Yes Ma'am/No Ma'am, Thank You and Please. The are respectable and they know manners. If I catch them being impolite or disrespetful, they know they will be punished.

But, those are just my rules and the way I was raised. You always treat your elders with respect!

I was actually too shocked to even laugh when that girl spoke. I can't believe they actually had that at the DNC...Oh wait, yes I can.

Oh well, at least she made more sense than Terese Heinz Kerry.
