Jaguars: Darnay Scott agrees to terms (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news/fanball/20020722/fanball-jaguarsdarnayscottag.html) typical ex. of how FA and salary cap sometimes sucks since I am sure Jags would have rather kept McCardell.

Scott and Smith when healthy are a great duo.

He's going to retire.

<<Lions | Moore Done? - from KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
July 12, 2002 14:25:39 PT Tom Kowalski, of mlive.com, reports for the Sporting News former Lions WR Herman Moore is expected to announce his retirement from the NFL when the Lions open training camp. He is expected to retire as a Lion. He talked with a couple of teams and visited Pittsburgh, but he has apparently decided to call it quits after an 11-year NFL career. >>

Personally I like what the Jags have done this offseason. Even with all of the departures via the expansion draft & free agency they have just as much talent, oh, & Fred Taylor(the NFL's best RB) is healthy, for now. They lost Boselli, Walker, McCardell, Hardy, Nickerson, Beasley, & Payne. In are Henderson, Pearson, Scott, Shaw, Johnson, Rainer, Coleman, & Naeole. They only position that is gonna be trouble for them this year is corner. There's no depth, & very little talent.
