Alonzo Mourning (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=845) wasn't ready Tuesday to put too much strain on his body, and the New Jersey Nets (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=njn) weren't rushing Mourning along in his attempt to become the second NBA player to return after a kidney transplant.

This has been out for a while. They may have been good but they got rid of K Mart. How dumb some of the general managers are.

Zo should just hang em up. He has been through so much, he's lucky to be alive. He has all the money in the world and had a stellar career. I can understand his frustration, but it's time to hang em up!

It wasn't Rod Thorn's(the Nets GM) fault, it was the owner who didn't want to pay for Kenyon, Kittles and others. He doesn't care about this team until they are getting ready to move to brooklyn.

If the Nets were smart they would of kept K-Mart and would of let Kidd go to San Antonio (or Dallas). Kidd is a joke!!

Maybe.

There is not a maybe about it, it was all Bruce Ratner who is the new Owner.

Looking back it would have been smart but the new Owner wasn't in place yet and Thorn had no idea he'd have to dump salaries the next year. By the way Kidd, when healthy, is still the best PG in the game and was the major reason the nets were so successful the past few seasons.
