Though it's not my all time favorite, I do have to say that one of their most underrated songs is Achillies Last Stand. With it's galloping bass line and great vocals...the song just flat out rocks.

The melodic sound of Going to California can't be beat!

Spent my days with a woman unkind, Smoked my stuff and drank all my wine.
Made up my mind to make a new start, Going To California with an aching in my heart.
Someone told me there's a girl out there with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair.
Took my chances on a big jet plane, never let them tell you that they're all the same.
The sea was red and the sky was grey, wondered how tomorrow could ever follow today.
The mountains and the canyons started to tremble and shake
as the children of the sun began to awake.

Seems that the wrath of the Gods
Got a punch on the nose and it started to flow;
I think I might be sinking.
Throw me a line if I reach it in time
I'll meet you up there where the path
Runs straight and high.

To find a queen without a king,
They say she plays guitar and cries and sings... la la la
Ride a white mare in the footsteps of dawn
Tryin' to find a woman who's never, never, never been born.
Standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams,
Telling myself it's not as hard, hard, hard as it seems.

Your Time Is Gonna Come.
The Lemon Song. [I wonder is yall know what I'm talking About]. :)
Friends.

You know Kasmire and Stairway To Heaven are two of my least favorite Zep songs. I liked the album tracks the best. The songs that never even made it to the radio. I think they could very well be the greatest band ever.
Who's with me?

Hey Hey what can I do? I got a woman who won't be true.
Hey Hey what can I say? I got a woman stay drunk all the time.
[ I'd kick that drunken slut to the curb, but thats just me.]

Wo here besides myself knows how the band came up with its name?

I vaguely know the details...I think Page was still with the Yardbirds...I don't know what it was about, but he was talking with some guy, sharing his ideas, when the man said something like, "oh that's gonna go over like a Lead zeppelin." They later changed it to "Led" cause they wanted to make sure the Americans would pronounce it right....den54, what's the real/whole story?

Thats pretty much the jest of it. Its been awhile since I heard story but I seem to remeber it being Page, John Paul Jones and some friends playing cards and Page said he was thinking of forming his own band that played Blues/rock. I think Jones then said ''Yeah that'll go over like a Lead Zeppelin.
Yes Page was still with The Yardbirds at the time.

Care to guess how WD40 got its name? :D

WD = water displacement
40 = attempts to create formula

Holy crap, I love almost all their songs. Why can't we have a band this talented anymore?

Hmm where to begin...
In no particular order..

When the Levee Breaks
Achilles Last Stand
The Entire "Houses of Holy" Album
Custard Pie
The Wanton Song
In the Evening
All My Love
Im Gonna Crawl
Carouselambra
Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
Fool in the Rain
Thank You
Ramble On
Immigrant Song
The Battle of Evermore
Misty Mountain Hop
The Rover
In My Time of Dying
Kashmir
In the Light

I dont even think I named them all. My all-time favorite band, next to Pink Floyd, Deftones, Tool, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Bob Marley and the Wailers, oh crap, I can just go on forever.

That is a loaded question, its like asking who your favorite player is in the main forum. It is either Achiles Last Stand or Over the Hills and Far Away(I cannot count how many times that song and a guitar have made my girlfriend lose her pants)

without a doubt, it's III(even though Dazed and Confused and Going to California aren't on it). My least favorite(and the only one i dont own) is Presence.

I think III is probably the most popular also, it doesn't really matter to me because all of their albums are great, and have atleast one hit.
