He's coming out early. Alot of you guys are down there, what do you think of this guy? I've seen quite a few Hurricane games and he's never impressed me much. Any opinions?

He will probably be a good return specialist...

Because speedy 4.3 receivers with great quickness with good hands are at a premium in the league. He's gonna be a 2nd to third rounder because of those attributes.

I wish he wouldn't leave. That means the top top recruits of past years, Ryan Moore & Lance Leggett, will have to step it up.

Between Legett, Moore and Sinorice Moss, UM should be fine at WR next year. Don't forget Kevin Everett and Greg Olsen at TE.

Everett is graduating. He'll be the 1st to 3rd TE taken depending on whether Heath Miller declares.

Moore will be the go to man. Leggett, Moss, & Jenkins will be our receivers & the awesome Greg Olsen at TE. Hester may play a little wideout too, though I'd prefer he learn to play CB & stay over there because he can be great.

From the great GBN:

It was a quiet day in terms of underclassmen announcing early entry to the 2005 draft. However, with just over a week until the application deadline expect the pace to pick up, especially early next week. Miami junior RB Frank Gore, though, may be on the verge of making an announcement, possibly as early as later today. Gore is believed to be leaning to entering the draft. Meanwhile, Gore's Miami teammate, junior DT Orien reportedly has decided to stay in school.

I'm torn on whether I think Gore should go pro or not. It's kinda like McGahee's decision. Gore can't risk another injury & I'd really like to see what Tyrone can do on a full-time basis with spot carries for Andrew Johnson & Charlie Jones.

Thank you for wanting to stay Harris. Our dline definitely needs you & you'll stand a better chance to get drafted higher next year.

D'oh! Well, there's always Buck Ortega.

Maybe it's just me, but Moore seemed to take a big step backwards this year. I'm not sure how much faith I have in him as the go-to guy. I was much more impressed with Leggett, who can really stretch the defense. Frank Gore would be wise to come back, too; the line will be healthy and he shouldn't see an 8 man front all year with the speed of the receivers.

Honestly, I don't care WHERE they play Hester, just so long as they find a place for him and leave him there. I would have left him at WR, because that was his original position, but CB is probably more of a need next year.

Harris definitely was wise to stay. He's another guy whose potential exceeded his production in 2004, and there's no reason he couldn't be a first rounder in 2005, maybe a high one. Right now, I don't think he goes first round.

Gore (as you know, I'm sure) has a tough decision. His mom requires constant, and thus expensive, medical care, so I couldn't blame him for going pro and trying to do right by his family. That said, strictly from a football standpoint, he should stay in school. I don't think teams will be lining up around the block to pick a guy who's blown his knee out twice and who has precisely one good, but not great, full and healthy season to his credit. If he was to stay healthy in 2005, and have a big season (of which he's more than capable), that would put fears about his health to rest and move him into the first round.

Then again, the Ravens once picked Jamal Lewis on a similar track record of health and production at #6 overall, so what do I know?

ESPNews is reporting that Gore is going pro.

Moore was hurt pretty much all year. He started off slow & dropped an easy TD that was a confidence deflater but he played well the last three games.

Both Moore and Leggett dropped plenty of passes this season. Roscoe was the most sure handed and Berlin trusted and looked for him more.

Losing Roscoe sucks but he's not going to really improve his draft status next season going against Moore and Leggett for balls.

Is it fair to compare Roscoe to Dante Hall? He is a great return specialist and probably has better hands than Hall. I dont think Roscoe wont be productive in his rookie year but I can see him being like Santana Moss in a couple of years.

Roscoe is probably 160 soaking wet in clothes. No comparison between Moss and Hall IMO.

I have confidence in both lance leggett and ryan moore to get the job done. Moore was injured and probably didnt get back to 100 percent. Plus isnt kyle wright supposed to be the next great QB to play for miami. I hope so, but I keep hearing he is gonna get a big challenge from the other QB Freeman. the canes got alot of talent coming back and plus the most important thing is they got alot of experience except for the quarterbacks. How good is the freshman linebacker (that was supposed to play, but was injured) gonna be? I forgot his name.

his name is willie williams and he could a monster on the field as long he stops being one off the field - personally i would love to see roscoe in a dolphins uni - i know welker is the feel good story of the year but i think roscoe is more of a threat with the returns

Why's there no comparison? Hall is about the same size, if that's what you were talking about.

Which is about the same size. Parrish is listed at 172 but will come to the combine at about 182 like many light weight receivers do to improve their stock. Parrish is very similar to Hall in terms of stature, speed, & agility. Parrish separates himself in the receiving department where he's much more polished.

Exactly what I was trying to point out earlier in this thread. If he adds the necessary bulk I can see him being productive like a brandon stokely type. I dont think he will be anything close to a #1 WR only cause of his height. If he was a little bit taller he would be a first day or even a first round pick.
