I dont like the fact that he (along with Spielman) wrecked our franchise but I dont wish him any ill will in life...

Thats just stupid!

Personally, I hope he does really well. He's a human being. Plus keep in mind he wasn't trying to be a bad coach.

Dave seems like a good guy who was just in over his head. I'd feel more comfortable predicting success for him if he were a DC and not a HC, but I'd like to see him turn it around and enjoy some success.

As a fin fan "DAVE's NOT HERE".

Personally people will succeed with a goal in mind and drive in their soul!

I don't hate Dave. I thought he was a good guy just not a good head coach. He is great with Defense so I look for Pittsburghs D to get pretty good in the next few years. I wish him the best of luck. He maybe in a few years he can come back as our D cordinator.

Tough question. I desperately want Pitt to win (especially since I'm probably going there for grad school next year), but boy do I hate Wanny for being so stubborn and making a mockery out of the QB position with his crybaby antics with AJ. Sad thing is that I just went through this type of crap with the Marlins (with Torborg) and Duke football, and I am not really in the mood to go through this again.

I do. For some reason I never hated Dave as much as the majority of Dolfans do!

FinsNYanksFan, when I think Wannstedt, numerous other names float through my head, like Carl Franks and Matt Doherty. I'd have to admit that the Matt Doherty experience was pretty funny, if only because I'm on the other side of it.

i hope for it but i dont expect it

Good luck to Wanny, and defiantly good luck to Pitt. But, maybe Wannstedt can turn Pitt back into a prominence?
