What makes you think it's big? What if the ps3 is small?

Going by memory here, I believe under 50,000 Yen (not sure of the Yen number) but that works out to $465 or less (I'm sure of this number).

That probably means a $400 price tag at launch for the PS3. It will be interesting if Sony can move more than 2-3 million consoles at that price. I'd wait on the Xbox 360 if it is that much, even as an Xbox fan. That $400 tag means I need at least $500-$550 (for a game or two and extra controller).

Only the very hardcore fans will bite at that price range.

I really don't believe that Sony will be able to put a $400 price tag on it, it's too unreasonable to go $250 (Starting price for a PS2 I think, but I'm guessing) to $400 for a PS3. I'd guess the starting price to be around $300-350 with games at $50-60.

As long as it's comfortable I don't care. It doesn't look That bad. SONY would not create a new controller if it wasn't comfortable. MAYBE the ends are long because their are tilt sensors in it for racing games so it would be like a steering wheel, but probably not.

The PS2 was $300 at launch, same price as the original PSX at launch actually. A pretty standard price for most new systems.

The latest number I've heard from Sony comes out to about $365, which is still a bit much for most consumers. They could probably get away with a $350 price at launch, then lower it to $300 after the sales slow down.

I've heard Sony is claiming that new PS3 controller is "a prototype" instead of the final design as they claimed earlier at E3. :D Guess the feedback was 90% negative on that bad boy.

Look for games to be in the $70 range. Game developers have been experimenting with raised game prices lately with "Limited Edition" games for Xbox and PS2 adding $5-$10 to the standard $50 price tag and its worked.

If that's the case then I won't be playing video games anymore.

I think I remember reading on IGN that PS3 games will be $60, which isn't bad for the quality that the games will be. Also PS3 Blu-Ray discs hold 54 gigs!
