Alright you ppl might think im stupid/wierd for doing this but in madden 2005 i traded for all of the players we have picked up D.Boston,Carter,Holliday,Spagan,Jones Etc... i created Brown,Roth, crowder and Daniels. And simulated the season, they went 10-6 A.J threw for 3,200 21 Td's 15 int's 83 passer rating. Ronnie ran for 1,233 with 10 td's and 561 recieving, Roth had 30 tackles and 6 sacks (he didnt start) We ended 5th in run defense but 16th in pass defense ** Reggie Howard ** had a great season with 6 int's sam madison sucked only had 1 int. Cant wait for Madden 2006 in august

Thats cool. Have you ever done a fantasy draft and simulated the seasons to see how your team did. I did that and won 5 straight SB's with the first coming in the 3rd season.

You have to sign them to 7 year contracts and then consistantly keep roworking their deals every year. Sometimes you have to trade a player but there is always something you can pull off.

I find the game to easy. The only way the computer wins is when it cheats.

Just Curious, how did you create the players. What stats did you give them?

This is the site I used to update all the teams...

That would be cool, yet creepy if all that actually happens.

Same here im always 19-0 every year and all my starters break records every year. I had JT get like 63 sacks one year or something.

Why don't you just export the draft classes from NCAA and you wouldn't have to create everybody!!!

Kinda low IMO. I mean, if you look at some of the other players.

I did some tweaking were necessary. No way should any of the top 3 back be rated lower than Thomas Jones.

You have to sign them to 7 year contracts and then consistantly keep roworking their deals every year. Sometimes you have to trade a player but there is always something you can pull off. That's what I do since my cap isn't really good, then I had to release Patrick Kerney and Pat Surtain (fantasy draft).

My brother and I once simulated a francise for 20 seasons, I made the playoffs every year and won 6 Super Bowls.

He didn't even win MVP because AJ broke all the passing records. Bad news was that it was on pro level.

i did it for 30 seasons, this year at college it was amazing i went through 2 QBs and they both broke marino's records and my back broke the rushing record a couple times too and a the end of the 30 seasons it just says congrads you finsihed 30 seasons and then thats it i was upset i thought i could get a little video or a record of my stats something besides a box saying congrads

I added all those players and all the fa's the only problem is I can't fit Ricky on the roster because I don't have enough salary cap. Any ideas?

Yeah... But usually the figure that takes this down is awareness. He probably has good speed, power, and hands. His agility is probably OK. But the awareness keeps rookies on Madden low to start.

You must understand that the player ratings and stats on Madden are not standardized in anyway, its all based pretty much on popularity and how often you hear the players name on T.V.

For instance, i remember in madden 04 they had Randy Moss at 99 speed, and then somehow thats faster than Michael Vick, even though in real life Vick's 40 time is way lower.

If you want real results you can trust, you actually need to go to some stat website that has everyone's 40 times from the combine, develop a formula that can configure the accelleration and top speed, and do the same with the STR stat by using the players combine max bench.

I actually used to have the formula, and i'll post it if anyone wants it but i'm telling you its like a 5 day non stop process of changing all these players.

imho, Madden is no good vs. the computer... you either dominate, or get dominated... besides the fact that the computer AI doesn't play correctly, and the running game is a joke...

the only way to truly enjoy madden is by playing against another talented HUMAN player...

Exactly...

BTW, I did a fantasy draft sunday and I was the 15 overall pick. Randy Moss was available at 15 somehow so I snagged him. I ended up with Moss, Portis, Antonio Gates, O.Kreutz, Ed Reed, Roy Williams to name a few...pretty good draft overall.

nugzandjugz (http://www.finheaven.com/boardvb2/member.php?u=8832) vbmenu_register("postmenu_1231002", true); what is your formula for calculating REAL 40 times etc into Madden ratings? Let me know.

I posted a thread/poll yesterday about what Ricky's new ratings would be on madden 05 after his comeback. Any ideas? I dropped him from a 94 to a 88. His biggest hits were in BTK and AWR.
