posts come and go yet some stick out and live on - what was your most favorite all-time post? for me anything by john simmons would apply but since i want only 1, my pick is this classic from noodle arm...

Ok boys and girls, just sit right there and let me tell you a tale.

Many moons ago there was a gentleman who joined this message board...some people say he was as tall as an oak tree but I wouldn't know. He went to the main forum and started a thread about Pita Pa Key. Many of us who read this thread were confused beyond belief. He said such things as "touch da Pita Pa Key"...we thought he was downright crazy. Little did we know that he was a genius who was ahead of his time! The thread was later locked and the man, the myth, the legend who started it all...just up and disappeared...never to be heard from again.

Then not so long ago, some youngins...many of who weren't on this board when Pita Pa Key was born, decided to adopt that phrase as their own. That was how the Pita Pa Key Posse was created. It was fun for awhle..but it may have gotten too big for it's britches. The posse ruled the lounge forum for quite awhile until the ole' Sheriff Moderater came in and said "Whoaaaa Nelly...it's time to put a halt to this craziness here" A long battle ensued. A lot of blood was shed and a few, god bless their souls, didn't make it. Some of the remaining posse members decided to leave this place and head on over to other pastures...a few of them old timers like myself. And that was the end of that, the Lounge soon went back to it's old ways without nary a mention of PKP and things went back to normal. But legend has it, that if you sit quiet and listen closely...everytime the wind blows...it whispers "Piiiitaa Paaa Keeeeyyy"

And that's the legend of the Pita Pa Key.

Thanx for the history lesson. Great post I had a good laugh reading it. Alot of blood was shed = priceless.. You may be get flamed for comparing a post dispute with a War like football players have. Football is a game and this is a forum...

Time for the tried and true advice.....

Go up in that ugly dude's face and unleash them breakdance moves. Serve him up something nasty. Make sure you get off a good b-boy pose at the end.

He wont get flamed. What he typed, noodle arm posted awhile back. He should have put a "quote" box around it to clarify he was just re-posting what noodle said.

My favorite post is still the "move Zach Thomas to SS."

I just cant let that one die. A lot of threads were spun off that one. The funniest part was the guy was dead serious about the suggestion......

Just to clarify...in the original thread I posted a picture of a bunch of kids sitting around a campfire..like a campfire tale. It was never meant to imply a war type atmosphere...it was more along the lines of an old western, with the mods being the sheriff's "takin' care of business" as they say. Hope it didn't offend anybody.

As for my favorite post? Wow I don't know..I can't pick one. When Birdman was here he had some classics. John Simmons is a legend. Philter25, NaboCane, Scrap, Bobby Humphrey, Pagan, d-day  , Section126, TerryTate and Muck have had some gems as well. (plus a lot of other members I forgot to mention) Doktor Ivel's have been somewhat funny...even when he's trying not to be.

As for posts that I love to hate...well if you know who RancidLunchMeat is...then you should understand. :D

Man d-day...I just realized when you posted this thread that I have so many really awesome posts in memory. It would be damn near impossible to pick an absolute favprite from among the many, from the many gifted posters here. thanks for making me really take stock and realize what a treasure this is.

Your first post comes to mind as an example of one that made me just about fall out of my chair; the ones Muck is posting of Bobby Humphrey's are priceless; I always liked to see Scrap post because you got to see his cool dog/s; P4E is one I admire and respect for his wise, measured temperament (from which I could learn a ton).

Hard to pick just one!
