of all the cd's and for the "old schoolers" lp's that you have, what song do you think you have personally played the most - is it a song to relax or sleep to? maybe a song to get you jacked up and going or maybe it's been a song for the bump and grind...

for me it's "violet" by seal - i can't think how many times ive put that on repeat and gone to all the places i want to go...

I have to go with "You're the Best Around" from Joe Esposito.

The song was on Karate Kid when he was fighting at the end.

depends on what I feel like listening to generally (and that doesn't necessarily mean they are my fav songs :) )...at the moment it's either:

Wish I Had an Angel - Nightwish
or
Cathartik - Tea Party

Most recent years it's "Moon Baby" by Godsmack...It's my boat launch tune. It rocks on the 4000 watt system on my boat.

I thought that was done by the musical genius Peter Sitera.

I don't know about the song I have played the most, but I think the song that has possibly been played more than any other song on the planet and will never die the quick painful death it so badly deserves is that song "Reason" by Hoobastank. I hate sissy pop rock.

It probably was, I was just kidding to begin with.

Yeah, but I dont think this thread deals with overplayed song, its song you can play alot and NOT get tired from. Its asking what song YOU play the most.

For me its either Fade to Black or One by Metallica.

the offspring CD, all of it. Expecially the road rage song (not released as a single). It has a great rant near the end that gets me pumped up!!

Oh **** dude. That whole album ('Smash') is pure adrenaline. One of my absolute favorite albums of all time. I can put that on and just listen to it all the way thru over and over. That album was made for driving a fast car on a long trips on a weekend.

Road Rage Song = 'Bad Habit'

My favorite song is the opener ('Nitro'). I'm ready to mash the pedal. :rocker: :band:

The fact that you know that is embarassing and hilarious at the same time.

I played the first couple of songs off the Silvechair's Frogstomp album billion times in high school. Metallica's version of "Helpless" has been beaten to the ground pretty good over the years. I can wear out a song proper like. Right now I think Little Sister is also my most played.

Current guilty pleasure: Gwen Stefani's album. She could be singing about killing bunnies, and it'd still sound sexy to me.

Hotel California by the Eagles....sorry I am Old School and I can't get into rap or anything post 1990. .....On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair, warm smell of colitas rising up through the air....up ahead in the distance I saw a shimmering light....my head grew heavy and my sight grew dim...I had to stop for the night.

By the way I never knew what the hell COLITAS are?? anyone know???

OUR SUSPICIONS CONFIRMED

This E-mail just in from Eagles management honcho Irving Azoff: "In response to your [recent] memo, in 1976, during the writing of the song 'Hotel California' by Messrs. Henley and Frey, the word `colitas' was translated for them by their Mexican-American road manager as 'little buds.' You have obviously already done the necessary extrapolation. Thank you for your inquiry

for something a little mellow, it would be "from the edge of the deep green sea" by the Cure.

for something a little more agressive, it would be anything by the misfits.

for something a little more agressive than that, it would be "caboose" by snapcase..

but that's just off the top of my head.

Cigarrete buds, you know, what is left after you smoke a cigarrete, or at least it is slang for that, because Colitas in in of itself just means little tails.

Most played right now is Holiday by Green Day, its my 4 yr olds favourite song ~ whoops :D
Most played in my life is probably "out of control" version from U2 3, an all Ireland EP release on CBS Ireland records before they made war, boy etc and signed with Island records. Next to that would be "One step beyond" by Madness.
